The parents of the recipients of the School-Based Feeding Program were all called for an Orientation conducted by the School Head, the Canteen Teacher and the BAC.

They were informed of their child’s nutritional status and the programs objectives and purposes which they would take part.

After the orientation, the parents were grouped into five for their daily schedule.

The involved teachers and the school head made a daily schedule of the parents who will be cooking for the recipients.

The budget for the construction of the School Feeding Center was made successful through the collaborative effort of the Barangay Council, School MOOE and School PTA.

Gulayan sa Paaralan served as a partner of the SBFP. It served as supplier of vegetables such as malunggay, pechay, mustasa, sitaw, and other green leafy plants which are very essential for the nutritious meals served.

By the innitiative of the School Head, 5pcs of nail cutters and lice combs or “suyod” for each section were purchased from the budget of School MOOE.This is to ensure health and hygiene of the pupils.

Everyday after the flag raising ceremony, before beginning the classes, the teachers in all grade levels makes sure that the pupils’ nails and hair are clean and proper.

Every week, the School Head releases Php 7, 500.00 budget to the Canteen Teacher and the BAC.

The budget of the 100 days School Feeding Program were released in Three Parts to the School Head.

Purchasing of the ingredients for the daily menus based on the 20 Days Menu given by the Division Office were done on a weekly basis by the School Canteen Teacher and the BAC. All these purchases were liquidated with receipts of the purchased items for transparency purposes.

Deworming, weighing, and measuring of the heights of the pupils in all levels were done.

a. Preparations of the mealsParents: wears turban/hairnet, and clean apron

The assigned parents were cooking the meals of the day. Also they clean and prepare the tables to be used.

The School Canteen Teacher, the BAC, and the School Head always supervises the preparations of the parents for the feeding program. They check the Feeding Center to make sure that it is clean, safe and organized for the recipients.

Recipients of the School Feeding Program were divided in two batches everyday. Kindergarten to Grade III and Grade IV-Grade VI. Both batches observes the rules of falling in line before going inside the Feeding Center and washing their hands thoroughly and sitting down quietly before their tables to pray.

Program were quietly and heartily eating their meals of the day which were cooked by their very own parents.

Some fruits are served after they eat for a more delightful tummy for the kids.

d. After every meals

After a delicious meal, the recipients of the School Feeding Program prays to thank God for each meal. Then they washed their hands clean.

e. Weight and height measurements

During the Feeding Program, the School Canteen Teacher and the BAC keep records of the weight and height of the recipients to track the progress of each pupils.

The culminating activity

Awarding of Certificates to the Recipients of the School Feeding Program and also to the active parents who actively participated all throughout the program.
