Over the summer, I will intern with The Planning Council, a non-profit group based in Norfolk, Virginia that serves parts of Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and northeastern North Carolina by connecting people with various human service organizations and providing insights backed by thorough research and expert planning to strengthen communities. My role will be assisting with primary and secondary research and analysis for this year's Community Health Needs Assessment for Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. During my senior year, I plan take my remaining classes for the statistics major and a few more classes to complete the data science and mathematics minors as well as continue working part-time as a private math tutor. My goal after graduating is to be accepted into a master's program for data or business analytics to prepare me for a career in the data analytics field.”
