ScanChain primarily focuses on conveyor chains and sprockets in DIN 8165 and DIN8167, but supplies and produces chains and sprockets in other standards. For instance inch-based chains, drop-forged chains and sprockets for same.

Connecting link with split. Split one side and rivet other side. High safety margin in construction. Risk of wear and corrosion at split.

Connecting link rivet. Weakest link at the chain. Requires pre- heating. Difficult access in conveyor box. Demands physical assembly.

Connecting link welded. Same high break load. (No weakest link)

Connecting link with bolt. Minimum breakload as welded chain. Easy handling and assembly. No risk in explosion hazardous environment.
