Introduction Arabian Consolidated Industrial Cleaning (ACIC- Tandheef) is developing and growing to meet the specialized needs of the growing industries in the petrochemical, electric power, oil & gas, and industrial sectors located in Middle East and the GCC region. ACIC is registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a branch office in Doha, Qatar, and specializes in High Tech Pre-Operational Cleaning, Pre-Commissioning Services, and regular scheduled maintenance services and products for Petrochemicals, Refineries, Desalination plants, Electric Power, Oil and Gas, and Hydrocarbon Process Industries. ACIC- Tandheef provides specialized Pre-Operational Cleaning Services for new plant construction and the solutions to unique and difficult maintenance problems at operating facilities. Our specialized Pre-Operational Cleaning Services for new plant construction remains a core service activity, but services for existing and operating equipment is also a large part of our activities. ACIC- Tandheef provides project management services & engineered solutions on unique and difficult commissioning and maintenance problems in both new and operating facilities. We can assist you beginning with customer contact and then all the way through to finishing your project and finalizing the turnover report: Starting with site visits, cost estimating and bidding, procurement & logistics, creating the technical method statements and writing technical procedures,

CHEMICAL CLEANING SERVICES

Chemical cleaning works can be classified as pre-

commissioning and commissioning cleaning.

Pre-commissioning cleaning (Degreasing, Acid cleaning and

Passivation) is required to achieve the process parameters and

to have a safe and smooth start-up of the equipment.

Equipment which are in the process operations for few years

need cleaning due to fouling caused by scale formation or

deposits. In such cases a solubility test is required on the

scale / deposit sample to ascertain the correct solvent to

remove the pollution. This type of cleaning is referred to

“commissioning” cleaning.

On both cleaning operations an external pumping unit is

required (like circulation temporary pump, mixing tank, heat-

exchanger, temporary hoses, transfer pumps, fittings and

adopters etc) to facilitate a closed circuit around the process

equipment to be cleaned in question.

Effluent generated during this cleaning operation will be

neutralized to acceptable standards and disposed off

environmentally friendly. We are one of the hazardous waste

transport contractor having Royal Commission hazardous

waste transport license. Our environmental services division

will launch very soon after getting approval from Royal

Commission and Saudi Arabian government authorities.

all kind of resources for their operations in Saudi Arabia. GEA

SUPER SUCKER AND VACUUM TRUCK SERVICES

ACIC (Tandheef) provides the most powerful, efficient, reliable

and well-equipped Super Sucker industrial vacuum truck

service in the environmental industry. ACIC importing new

Super Sucker trucks which can capable to clean and recover a

full range of materials including solids, dry bulk powders,

liquids, slurries, thick sludge. Our Super Suckers have the

capacity to remove hazardous to non-hazardous waste in full

compliance with all government regulations. Our expert staff

of opera tors are well trained and bring years of experience to

the job. At ACIC (Tandheef) we are committed to ensuring

SUPPLY AND TRANSFER OF CHEMICALS

We have facility (different types of transfer pumps to comply

with various chemicals) to transfer chemicals to your systems

like hydrochloric acid transfer, Caustic transfer, Ammonia

transfer etc. We offer you chemicals like, Hydrochloric Acids,

Sodium Hydroxide, Aqua Ammonia, Citric Acid inhibitors,

Surfactants, Flocculants etc, and also Lab reagents at

reasonable price.

HYDRO JETTING

Hydro jetting is a process that uses high speed / high

pressure water to clear blockages in pipe equipment systems

and is typically the first approach to clearing blocked lines.

Barring the possibility of a collapsed line, H.P jetting will solve

the problem and thereafter routine maintenance will keep the

lines free and functioning properly. Maintenance of this sort

will go a long way toward minimizing eventual blockages that

could result in a line breakage requiring more drastic and

expensive remediation.

ACIC (Tandheef) is a well-equipped contractor in hydro

jetting activities with all modern equipment. We have a well

trained crew with experience in turn around shut down works.

ACIC (Tandheef) is the official service sponsor for GEA in

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We execute installation, erection and maintenance services for

GEA in the Kingdom. We joins our hands together with GEA in

many service areas like Chemical Cleaning, Hydro-Jetting and

all kinds of Industrial activities.

GEA Heat Exchangers covers the most application areas,

extending from air conditioning systems to cooling towers. As

BOILER BOIL-OUT & SODA ASH CLEANING

Boil-out of a boiler becomes an essential cleaning operation to

remove any oil, grease or smug present in the boiler before

pressurizing.

A combination of Soda Ash, Tri sodium phosphate, Sodium

meta silicate and surfactant will be blended as per the boiler

manufacture’s recommendations and will be injected to the

steam drum. Burners will be “lights-on” to raise the

temperature and pressure will be raised. After certain period

the chemical will be drained & neutralized and disposed

safety.

ACIC (Tandheef) have in-house expertise to carry out boiler

boil-out and soda ash circulation.

FIN FAN CLEANING

External during on Fin Fan’s will be generally done by

generating Foam. Hence this type of cleaning is called as

“Foam cleaning”. The pollutants like sand dust, dirt moisture

in the air will bind to adhere on the surface of the fin fan tubes

and thus cause fouling. This fouling was drastically reducing

the efficiency (poor heat transfer rates) of the fans if it is not

removed properly. Foam cleaning is an industrial standard

method of cleaning fin fans in case of fouling.

Chemicals with inhibitors will be blended in the Foam

Generator. Foam Generator will produce thick size of foam

which will be sprayed on the top of the bundle. Enough

residence time will be given do that the foam distributed will

gradually penetrate towards the inner core of the tube bundle

and start reacting with the foreign particles.

The entire surface will be washed with a multi jet steam spray

device on both ways (Top to bottom and bottom to top).Internal

cleaning of fin fan tubes will be done by circulation method.

ACIC (Tandheef) have proper equipment (Foam generator

and steam spay device) and technology to perform these kinds

of jobs.

STEAM BLOWING

The steam blowing operation cleans all the debris in the

super-heater, pre-heater and the steam pipe line connecting

the turbine. During the maximum continuous rating load of

the turbine the drag force in the pipe line can dislodge

particles loosely adhering to the tubes internal surface,

causing great damage to the turbine blades.

As steam blowing is one of the initial stages of start-up

operation, extra care must be taken to maintain the boiler

operating parameters as per the commissioning procedure.

The principle behind steam blowing lines clean is that the

thermal cycling (heating/cooling) and high velocity gas flowing

through the line will "shock" the pipe and tend to break the

mill scale and weld slag away from the pipe wall. Ideally,

steam blowing should be done prior to the system being

insulated to maximum the thermal cycling of the equipment.

If the system is insulated, a greater time between blows may

be necessary to allow the system to cool.

The process or steam blowing imposes abnormal and severe

conditions upon the boiler, steam equipment and steam

piping. It is recommended that a means of over pressure

protection be provided in the temporary piping, such as, safety

valves set at the design pressure of the temporary piping.

Noise levels will be very high during the steam blow. Hearing

protection is mandatory for those in the immediate vicinity of

the steam outlet. An area at least 100 m from the blow point

must be roped off to prevent personnel from approaching too

close.

OIL FLUSHING AND OIL DISPOSAL

Oil Flushing on compressor or turbine system is necessary to

remove sand, debris and any unwanted foreign particles

present in the lines before start-up. Flushing oil will be

pumped into temporary tank and piping will be looped to form

a closed circuit. Temporary filters will be installed and the

screen size will be selected as per equipment vendor’s

specification.

Flushing will be carried out till satisfactory results will be seen

on the filter unit. Used flushing oil will be drummed back and

will be disposed safely. ACIC (Tandheef) have in-house Oil

flushing unit equipped with filters and have facility to dispose

the used / flushing oil in safe manner.

SCRAPING SERVICES

Line scraping is essential for de-watering, remove unwanted

things inside the pipe line, make sure the line is free from any

kind of obstruction etc…This process can be performed by

fixing a Scraper Launcher at one end and a scraper Receiver at

the other end.

Scrapers are available at various specifications. We have to

choose the required scraper for our purpose. For example a

low density poly urethane foam scraper would be sufficient for

de-watering purpose. The propelling media for these scrapers

will be water, air or nitrogen. Again this will depend on which

type of service we are going to use to it. A Slug Scraping will be

used in case of chemical cleaning will be required on long or

cross-country lines. ACIC (Tandheef) having good expertise

on this type of scraping services. We do have facility to

fabricate Launchers and receivers required for Scraping

service.

DRYING FACILITY

Drying of a process pipe line (or vessel) can be achieved either

by external air-dryer source, Nitrogen or vacuuming.

A required dew point (Range from 0-oC to 40-oC) can obtained

by using air-dryer for which the required quantity of air will be

supplied by Oil and moisture free compressor.

Another way of obtaining the desired dew-point will be purging

with liquid nitrogen.

ACIC (Tandheef) do have the know-how available for pipe

line drying works.

MECHANICAL FABRICATION WORKS

We do have mechanical workshop to our yard located at Al-

Jubail.

Any kind of Mechanical fabrication works (like pipe line,

vessels, surge tanks, platforms, I-beams, support beams etc,)

and welding works will be designed and supplied by us.

PALT TURN ARUOND SHUTDOWN SERVICES

ACIC -Tandheef doing all kinds of supporting activities for

turnaround shut down in all SABIC affiliates. However we are

working out for an infrastructure capable to do catalyst

handling. Very soon we will launch with our Plant turn around

Shutdown sub division with all kinds of modern equipment.
