A freight request for quotation (tendering request) is received as a forwarding quotation in

the supplier’s TM system. The quotation confirmation is sent back to the customer and is

converted into a quotation in the customer’s TM system.

The freight order combined with data from the tendering request is directly sent to the

carrier, where it is received as a forwarding order. The carrier can directly accept the order.

If the first carrier rejects the order, the freight order will be sent to the next carrier.

Response

A tendering request (RFQ) sent to a carrier by email or SMS. The carrier responds to the

email using a regular email client on a PC or a mobile device and sends it back to the

ordering party. The email is then converted into a tendering response (quotation).
