Page 2: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

(A) Do the definition FIRST

Need to start with Definition of the Enterprise structure and assignement.

1 Create the Company Code

* Create a compnay code by COPY from ONE COMPANY code to a new one

Define the Common Distribution Channels

We will use the company code USD for 3000 as the original USA companycopy from USA company code 3000 to the new company code ZACC

ZACC is the NEW Company Code we create

Page 3: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

We will use the company code USD for 3000 as the original USA companycopy from USA company code 3000 to the new company code ZACC

* it is copy more than 10,000 tables… Continue with YES and Define the currency.. * Promopt for the Customizing Request, it keep track of the change, it is called Transport Report, Need to Keep the Transport report Customization Rerquest* Always copy the standard SAP delivered object that is the close to the functionality of what you want to copy, type F8 to create a new transport report* Click STOP at the error occurred in the number range object

ZACC is the NEW Company Code we create

Page 4: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

Transport Report :Transport Report most moved in the sequence of the new creationto the BASIS Team …

To view the transport REPORT, we use the SE01 or SE10

SE is the ABAP related ..

then inser the user ID ..

we need to release the sub tab first then use the Release Directly Truck to release thesub transport report first , then move up ..

Testing Landscape100 Config Clients (Golden Client)200 Development

(ABAP CHANGE ALL all Client Independent--> it will automatic reflect to all client)300 Unit Testing

all the configuration changed that we do that is are client dependent, meaning that]will not automatically reflect to other client..

in order to have the configuration changed, you most use the SCC1 to do a client copyyou need to client copy

First step is to have new configuration client to copy to other client..then basis team will moved to QA then to production …

2 Create the Sales Organization

We will use the sales organization 3000 to copy from

Change to the ZAUS

ZAUS is the Sales Organization I created

Page 6: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

A1 is the ONLIINEA2 is the Retail

Page 7: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

4 Create the Division

Division is GROUP of the product ..

1-- Define NEW Division2-- New Entry

A2 PCA3 PhoneA4 Laptop

Page 8: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

4 Create a Plant

position 3000 and COPY As

ZAP1 Is the plant I created ..

Page 9: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

5 Create Storage Loaction

it is like the sub-division inside the plant.

SL01 Is the storage location assign to the ZAP1 plant

6 Create Shipping PointWhere the good will be ship from ..

ZSP is the shipping point created

Page 10: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

Sales organization APPLE USA will have two distribution channel

ZAUS is the sales organization A1 is the Online this allow the sales org able to distribute to the onlineA2 is the Retail this allow the sales org able to distribute to the retail

so we will assign A1 to the ZAUS for the sales orgthen Assign A2 to the ZAUS for the sales org

Page 16: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

9 Assign Shipping point to the PLANT 1:49;45

Use find to type and find the plant we define --> ZAP1

Click on the plant name and then click on ASSIGN

Page 17: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

Page 18: SAP SD Enterprise Structure

We have established following enterprise structure :

Sales Org Distribution Channel DivisionZAUS A1 Online A2 PC

A2 Retail A3 Phone

When creating the Customer Master.. If we want customer able to buy from differentchannel and division, we then need to have different customer master for all thedistribution channel and division.

ZAUS A1 A2A1 A3A2 A2

A2 A3

Sales Area meaning: Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and Divisions.

* Using the Common Distribution to let the system know that A1=A2 for the distribution channel

meaning that the A1 Online is = A2 Retail

* Using the Common Division to let the system know that A2=A3 for the distribution channel

meaning that the A2 division PC is = A3 Diviosn for Phone

This is important to enable to create the master data
