educate and support (both physically and spiritually). We meet at St. Gabriel Parish, 900 Geiger St, Neenah, on the first Monday of most months. Rosary at 5:30 pm. Meeting starts 6:00pm. All are welcome to our meetings. While you don’t need to be Catholic, we do follow Catholic Social teaching on life issues. Questions? Email: [email protected] Facebook page: Fox Valley Respect Life

changes will be made the weekend of October 2 &3: The Saturday Masses will be 4pm at St. John and 6pm at St. Mary and the Sunday Masses will be 9 am St. John and 11am St. Mary. Mass Schedule Effective October 2 & 3 Saturday Masses Sunday Masses 4:00pm St. John 9:00am St. John 6:00pm St. Mary 11:00am St. Mary

Our next First Saturday Mass will be offered at St. Mary on October 2. Join us for Adoration and Confession beginning at 9am, followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 10am. The Five First Saturdays Devotion is one of the principal points of the Fatima message. It centers on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both impious and indifferent men. On the First Saturday during 5 Consecutive Months, the Devotion consists of: 1. Going to Confession, 2. Receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion, 3. Saying five decades of the Rosary, 4. Meditating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary. All this offered in REPARATION for the sins of blasphemy and ingratitude committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Faith Formation Corner - “Once I fall in love, then I'll be happy But then you fall in love and there's still a hole Once I get some money, it'll all be easy But then you get that money, you still feel broke Once I get a little older, I won't worry Then you get older and it don't feel like it should I'm thinking once I learn to grow right where I'm planted Maybe that's when life starts getting good…….. I'm afraid of both my parents dying I call my dad, he answers right away And I didn't hear a word 'cause I was thinking About what hasn't happened yet but will someday And we hang up the phone before I know it I'm crying over the conversation my fear took I'm thinking once I learn to soak up every moment I'll realize my life's already good Thank God that my life's already good” Lyric excerpts to Getting Good by Lauren Alaina We always seem to be looking for something new or different. We look ahead of us for the next good thing, we look behind us and wish we were enjoying a previous time in our lives. But there is something to be said about the sacrament of the present moment. God has talked to you in the past. God will talk to you in the future - nothing will change that. All you need to realize and surrender to, is how He is speaking to you and calling you to live in THIS moment. Take some time this week to breathe in God’s love and grace right now. The Altar Flowers beautify our sanctuaries and are a welcome offering to our worship. They can be given in thanksgiving to God for a family member’s birthday, wedding anniversary, or other blessing. They can also given in memory of a departed loved one or friend. The cost for the altar flowers at St. Mary is $60.00 per week ($30 each for 2 arrangements.) To maintain this beauty in our sanctuaries for the glory of God we need people to sign up to donate to cover each weeks flower costs. Please call Carmen in the Parish Office at (920) 725-7714 Thanks and God bless!

Calling all creatures great and small! St. Francis is the patron saint of animals, and to celebrate St. Francis' works, members of

the church, school, and community are encouraged to bring their pets to St. Mary for a blessing. Our St. Francis Pet Blessing will take place at 5:30pm on Monday, October 4 at the Parish Office/School entrance at St. Mary on 2nd Street. We will have a brief prayer service and all pets will be blessed. Bring a picture if you pet doesn't travel well. Don't have a pet? Bring your favorite stuffed animal! St. Francis loved all God’s creatures and followed God’s example of kindness, mercy, compassion, and love for all creation. Hope to see you there! Please invite your pet loving friends!

Do you have any Rosaries, Crucifixes, books or other religious items that could be used to help build up the faith in a new home? Drop them off at the Parish Office and we will help them to become a treasure to a new family. God Bless!
