12/1999: SSI was established with charter capital of VND 6 billion with its head office based in Ho Chi Minh City

07/2002: SSI established its first branch in Hanoi, expanding its networks to Northern areas.

04/2004: Charter capital was raised to VND 23 billion

2/2006: SSI stock was listed on the Hanoi Securities Trading Center (now known as HNX)

08/2007: SSI Asset Management (SSIAM), a subsidiary of SSI, was founded.

10/2007: SSI stock was switched to the Ho Chi Minh City Trading Center (now known as HOSE)

06/2008: Daiwa became Strategic Shareholder of SSI

NGUYEN DUY HUNG (Mr.) Founder, Chairman cum CEO With decades of experience in securities and investment industry, Mr. Hung is a nationally recognized business leader and pioneer in Vietnam. He is also the founder and Chairman of The PAN Group, the top regional agricultural and food company. Mr. Hung holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hanoi Law University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Ho Chi Minh.

NGUYEN HONG NAM (Mr.) BOD Member cum Deputy CEO Mr. Nam has been a successful leader in many business areas. Mr. Nam received his master degree from Lugansk – Ukraine University

NGUYEN THI THANH HA (Ms.) CFO Ms. Ha has over 10-year working experience in treasury and credit areas for international organizations in Vietnam such as the branch of ING Baring and VID Public bank. She holds her master degree in Banking and Finance from Vietnam National Economics University.

DOAN NGOC LY LY (Ms.) COO Ms. Ly joined SSI in 2010 and was promoted to COO since 2015. She has made a huge contribution to the overall improvement of SSI system. Ms. Ly graduated from Benedictine University, with a Master Degree of Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.

She graduated from Goteborg University, Sweden with a Master degree in International Business and Trade.

MAI HOANG KHANH MINH (Mr.) Deputy Managing Director, Head of Institutional Trading, Securities Services Mr. Minh has a broad knowledge and is well-educated in finance and banking. He holds Master degree in Applicable Finance of Monash University, Australia

HOANG VIET PHUONG (Ms.) Director, Head of Institutional Research & Investment Advisory, Securities Services During 2013-2016, Ms. Phuong was named Best Country Analyst and Best Strategist – Vietnam. After graduation from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, Ms She obtained the MSc Information Management and Finance from University of Westminster, UK.

NGUYEN DUY LINH (Mr.) Deputy Managing Director, Head of Retail Brokerage, Securities Services Mr. Linh has 10 years in securities market and a wide range of financial knowledge. He holds a BA from Banking University in Viet Nam and MBA of Solvey Business in Brussels.

NGUYEN VU THUY HUONG (Ms.) Managing Director, Treasury With 7-year working experience, Ms. Huong has played a role of corporate finance consultant in Vietnamese capital market from its establishment, joined CPH projects, consulted listing, issuing, restructuring corporations in construction, electricity, telecommunication, petroleum, finance, banking, maritime sectors. She holds a Master Degree of Corporate Finance by University of National Economics and a Master Degree of Applicable Finance from University of Macquarie, Australia.

NGUYEN THI HUONG GIANG (Ms.) Director, Head of IB, Southern Region Ms. Giang has 9 year experience in investment and corporate finance field in Vietnam, which she executed a number of significant investments and divestments. She holds a bachelor degree from University of Califonia, Los Angeles with double major in business economics and accounting and a MBA Degree from University of Hawaii, Manor.

NGUYEN NGOC ANH (Ms.) Director, Head of IB, Northern Region Ms. Anh has substantial experience and knowledge of investment projects valuation and other aspects of corporate finance. She has participated in a number of equity and debt capital markets transactions for leading companies. Prior to that, she was Director of Product Development of SSIAM. She holds Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Sydney, and Master of Commerce, majoring in Banking, from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Ms. Linh is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma program, USA.

NGUYEN THANH TUNG (Mr.) CIO/Portfolio Manager, SSI Asset Management Mr. Tung has many years of experience in banking and investment including 9 years at SSIAM as CIO/PM and Head of Research. He holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a member of various investee companies’ Board of Directors.

NGUYEN PHAN DUNG (Mr.) Deputy CEO, SSI Asset Management Mr. Dung has many years of experiences in finance and investment. Prior to SSIAM in 2007, he worked with ABN AMRO, CBOT and InterCall in Chicago. He holds a BA in Economics from Knox College, and a MBA from Loyola University, USA.

LE THI LE HANG (Ms.) CEO, SSI Asset Management Ms. Hang Le has many years of working experience in SSI Asset Management and at W.P. Stewart, a New York–based asset management firm.
