OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The objective of the study is to familiarize the students with various Web based packages to develop customize Web site. It is one of the most important ways of orientation to the front page environment and building web sites. This project helps in working with tables and frame. With the help of HTML forms are created and connecting to the Database.This project attempts to integrate the concept of World Wide Web with the methodology in creating of a web site. It provides guidelines on how to create a web site and how to use the tools that are needed for the purpose. The Front Page and HTML are two tools that have been discussed in length.
HTMLHyper Text Markup Language, commonly referred to asHTML, is the standard markup language used to createweb pages.It is written in the form ofHTML elementsconsisting oftagsenclosed inangle brackets(like). HTML tags most commonly come in pairs likeand, although some tags representempty elementsand so are unpaired, for example. The first tag in a pair is thestart tag, and the second tag is theend tag(they are also calledopening tagsandclosing tags).Web browserscan read HTML files and compose them into visible or audible web pages. Browsers do not display the HTML tags and scripts, but use them to interpret the content of the page. HTML describes the structure of awebsitesemanticallyalong with cues for presentation, making it a markup language, rather than aprogramming language.HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites. HTML allowsimages and objectsto be embedded and can be used to createinteractive forms. It provides a means to createstructured documentsby denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists,links, quotes and other items. It can embedscriptswritten in languages such asJavaScriptwhich affect the behavior of HTML web pages
CONTAINER TAGS AND EMPTY TAGSContainer tags are tags that you place on your site to trigger not one, but many other tags. Container tags make it easier for you to add, change, or remove tags, because they provide a delivery mechanism for the tags they contain. EXAMPLE:
