The social media group used three forms of social media during the Safe and Sound Slumber Fund campaign Facebook Twitter Indiegogo

All three were used to promote the Safe and Sound Slumber Fund as well as the Safe and Sound Volleyball Tournament

Facebook

The Facebook page was our main promotional resource. We thought we could generate the most buzz

through Facebook, as the whole class could easily invite their friends to visit the page

We have 124 likes on the page Throughout the campaign multiple pictures,

logos and flyers were posted on the page Field hockey pizza sale Women’s Center logo Volleyball tournament flyer and pictures

Twitter

Twitter was the second social media platform we used to promote the Safe and Sound Slumber Fund

We have 31 followers We have 23 tweets and promoted

the Wendy’s fundraiser and volleyball tournament heavily on the Twitter account

Retweets were also crucial to getting the word out about special events

Indiegogo

Indiegogo was one of our main fundraising social media platform

We created a video for the homepage, as well as, posted photos of the class and special events flyers

Our page was Tweeted 13 times, liked through Facebook 95 times and had 1 like on Google +

With 18 days left in the campaign we have raised $245 of our $1,000 goal

Summary

Overall, the Facebook page was our biggest success with 124 likes

We could have improved our Twitter and Indiegogo pages, by increasing followers, retweets, visitors to the Indiegogo page and donations
