6 TIPS FOR CHOOSING COFFEEAs a general rule, any type of coff ee
available on the market can be used. However, coff ee is a natural
product and its fl a-vour changes according to its origin and
blend; it is therefore a good idea to try diff erent types of coff
ee in order to fi nd the most suited to your personal taste. For
optimal results, we recommend using espresso machine blends. As a
rule, coff ee should always come out of the pres-surized fi lter
holder, without dripping. The coff ee brewing speed can be modifi
ed by slightly chang-ing the amount of coff ee in the fi lter
and/or using a diff erent coff ee grind.Saeco recommends using ESE
single-dose coff ee pods for a tasty coff ee and easier cleaning
and preparation.
Note: The ESE Pod Kit is only available in the Fo-cus, Class and
Stainless Steel models.

steam wand. (Fig.26) - Open the knob (3) for a few seconds, so that
re-
maining water fl ows out of the steam wand (Pannarello). In a
short time only steam will come out.
(Fig.27) - Close the knob (3) and remove the container. Fill 1/3
of the container - the one you wish to use to prepare
the cappuccino - with cold milk.
Use cold milk to get a better result.
(Fig.28) - Immerse the steam wand in the milk and open the knob
(3) by turning it counter-clockwise. Turn the milk container with
slow upward movements so that it warms up evenly.
It is recommended that the dispensing process lasts max. 60
seconds.
Once fi nished, close the knob (3) by turning it clockwise and
