Autobiography of Ryan

My name is Ryan. My favorite subjects are math and science.

Astronomy just fascinates me because of all the things that are

yet to be discovered! There may be extra-terrestrials or differ-

ent dimensions or even other worlds that are just waiting to be

discovered. Also, I think math is fun. It’s just so easy and fun to

learn all the properties of math that keep getting more intriguing

as you get better in math. Then there’s calculus. I heard that’s

really hard, but I used to say that about my 7th grade cousin’s

math when I was in 5th grade. Now that I am in 7th grade, I under-

stand it so I figured that if I am the age when I learn calculus, I’ll

master it! So to sum

up, I’m your average

boy that was born in

the Golden State.

Uprising!

Muhammad was a regular peasant in Medieval Europe. Like always,

there’s a hierarchy with the king at the top, the nobles and aristocrats at the

middle, and the peasants and beggars at the bottom. But today was different

than most days. Today was the death of King Richard and it was time for a

new ruler. He never had any children so the next king would most likely be a

noble, but not this time. Muhammad was a skilled peasant that always har-

vested huge amounts of crops and helped out the beggars and others that were

in need of food. He also paid his taxes on time and without complaint. No-

body deserved the title of “King” more than Muhammad. A week before a no-

ble would be crowned ruler of Europe; Muhammad gathered all the peasants

in the courtyard and stood in the center of it. After that, Muhammad said

“I shall become ruler. The stingy, rich nobles don’t deserve to be rulers.

All they would do is make life for us peasants even more unbearable than it is

now. It is time that we peasants take control! If I don’t get the title, we will be

in misery. If I don’t get the title, we shall put Europe up in flames! We shall

make Europe experience the darkest age they have ever known!”

The crowd roared in excitement now knowing that the only thing keeping

the civilization from crumbling is them. The peasants are the ones keeping

this civilization alive. Now it was time. They demanded that a peasant would

become ruler, give the peasants better working conditions, and treat them the

same way they do nobles and aristocrats. If their wishes aren’t met, then an

uprising shall begin. The peasants will harvest crops only for themselves and

go somewhere else and start their own small village where everyone is treated

equally. That’s the peasants’ dream.

Nobles didn’t go through with the plan. Instead, they made it harder for

the peasants, but the peasants weren’t going down. Like they said, the peas-

ants took all their belongings and went somewhere far from Europe. They

walked for months and months and finally stopped near a lake. They created a

new civilization, one that was very peaceful and everybody was friendly to-

wards one another. There was no real ruler, but some people were appointed

jobs to help enforce the rules the peasants came up with. Medieval Europe

eventually fell due to lack of resources and continuous fights against one an-

other. The peasants were glad and all was well.

The Bermuda Triangle… Everybody knows about the Bermuda Triangle. It’s where ships mysteri-

ously disappear without a trace of their existence. It’s where airplanes drop

out of the sky only to meet the unforgiving wasteland known as the sea. It’s

where people vanish into thin air. Nothing dwells in the deep abyss of the Ber-

muda Triangle, only that one thing. A journal has been retrieved through our

advanced technology, but it wasn’t for our eyes to read. Whoever opened that

journal would experience mental fatigue and live their worst nightmare. But

for everyone that opened it, one sentence would be the same. It was “Go back

now or be trapped in a world of never-ending fear!” It is said to be written in

none other substance but blood. It wasn’t normal blood. Scientists have tested

it because the bloody sentence would appear on the first page before one ex-

perienced a night of horror. The blood composed of three things; human

blood, fish blood, and the flesh of decayed people.

A few years after the journal was discovered, two brave people stepped up

to dive into the depths of the forsaken land. Ryan and Thren were the ones

that were smart enough to create a device that would be able to stay in the

Bermuda Triangle for a certain amount of time. Now they were going to

search the mysteries that lie in the triangle. They were getting ready at the

shoreline of Miami with the help of their friend Dan, who specialized in me-

chanics and created an advanced apparatus that created air out of water. No-

body understands his technological thinking but no one questions it because

whatever Dan makes gets the job done.

It was time. Ryan and Thren were already swimming to the triangle with

Dan’s breathing device. After a few minutes of swimming, they arrived only

to find a desolate wasteland covered with water. “What is this place? What’s

going on here? The Bermuda has taken many ships and planes but what in the

seven hells is this?!?” yelled Ryan

“I don’t know. There are so many odd beasts here, and it seems as if

they’re spawning from the ships and planes.”, replied Thren. “Something

seems awfully familiar here, right Ryan?”

“Yeah, there’s something about this ominous feel that makes me remem-

ber something that’s connected to this area. Maybe………. “said Ryan as

something pulled his very body into the water and inside one of the ships. It

was a silent death and now Thren was all alone. The Bermuda is still shrouded

in mystery, as if the secret of the triangle isn’t going to reveal itself so easily.

Then, Thren noticed something. All the creatures were gathering around

something, and blood was spewing out of that exact area.

Page 6: Ryan's WAM

Thren was done for now. He was all alone in one of the most dangerous

places in the world, and strange beings were ready for a second course. As

Thren tried to swim back to Miami, something happened to him. Like Ryan,

Thren was pulled into the water. He thrashed around in the water hoping the

monster would set him free but that wasn’t the case. Struggling was futile, but

another event occurred. Instead of the monsters devouring him, they set him

inside an underwater cavern. Thren was able to breathe in the cavern, but who

knows how much oxygen was in the cave. Then, with his amazing analysis

skills, Thren noticed something peculiar. The cavern wasn’t an ordinary cave;

it was a place that was timed. If you stayed there for a certain amount of time,

green slime would start oozing from the sharp, red walls and submerge you.

One led to safety, but one led to certain death. There were two pathways with

one person standing next to each opening. As Thren approached one of the

“humans “, a voice appeared from nowhere. “Where…. are you going…”, a

voice said weakly “Get out of here…. now… or you’ll end up like me….”

“Ryan! You’re alive! I thought those undead monsters got you. I bet your

breathing thing saved you. Thank you, Dan.”, screamed Thren because of his

overwhelming joy.

Now it was time to make their way out of the maze. Going back to where

they came from would probably lead to death because the mermaid-like crea-

tures are most likely going to tear them limb from limb. Their only option was

going through the cave, but it wouldn’t be easy. Beside Ryan and Thren, was a

skeleton with a journal. Unlike the one that gave every reader mental fatigue,

this journal actually gave Thren and Ryan useful information. It said:

“Please turn back now. This place is not for human eyes. All those who

enter it die from supernatural forces. The two people… one of them is ly-

ing and one is not. Stay in this cavern too long and you die of toxic air…

and the slime shall drown you…”

And the journal ends there. Ryan had survived from a fatal blow, but with-

out medical treatment, Ryan wouldn’t last very long. Blood stained his clothes

up until the shirt couldn’t hold anymore. Blood just keep dripping down and

down and down. “We gotta get going. I’ve already blocked the blood from

dripping so your blood won’t drop as quickly.” said Thren in a whispered

voice. As they tried to figure out the correct path, the tragedy happened. “I’m

sorry Thren, I can’t go on… I’ve already lost too much blood, and the crea-

tures… one of them bit my leg… I figured out that they are mutated ani-

mals… but how’s that going to help us… Anyways…. Take care of Annie for

me… My wife is going to have to raise the children by herself… Before I met

God, tell her this…. Don’t be too hard on the children… they’re just kids…

let them roam… I… Love… You…” said Ryan in his dying breath.

Page 7: Ryan's WAM

“No… You aren’t dead, you just think you are! Just…” responded Thren.

He couldn’t complete his sentence. He was now by himself in a place where

nobody’s been to, with a dead body right by his side.

Thren was all alone and he had a strange puzzle to solve. There’s no tell-

ing which one is lying and which one is telling the truth. All he could do was

ponder and continue thinking about the correct path. All he knew was that if

he asked one person where he would go, it would either go to the correct path

or the deadly path. Then it hit him. What if he asked any robot “what would

the other one say” and go to the other path. The person that’s telling the truth

would point to the wrong path and you’d go to the opposite of that. If you

went to the one that’s lying and asked that, he would point to the wring path

because he’s lying and you’d be safe either way!

Thren and Ryan’s dead body got out safely. The made it in the nick of

time because green ooze began pouring out as they left. They were so close to

discovering the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. The monsters, the ooze, and

the unknown cavern are all still being solved, but Thren and Ryan’s adventure

allowed scientists to be aware of the monsters and create something that

would make us humans superior to those things. It seems that the Bermuda

Triangle won’t give up its secrets so easily…

The Mystery of the Quiet Zone

Ryan

It was a foggy day when “it” happened. Mary and Joseph wandered into

forbidden land, and it was forbidden for a reason. Strange things occurred in

that piece of land and if you mark all the areas where something unnatural

happened and looked from an overhead view, it creates an image of a dead an-

gel. Last year, two people went into the exact same forest Mary and Joseph.

The only difference is that Mary and Joseph are still alive in that area. Anyone

that enters the forest experiences mental fatigue and they lose control of them-

selves. Then the forest becomes a labyrinth in the blink of an eye. No matter

where you go in that labyrinth, it always changes. Another case was during

the summer of 1909, when two expert geologists disappeared. They left a

journal for others to read. There wasn’t much but it said: “Whoever is reading

this journal, please tell everyone to stay away from this area. It’s not safe.

There are creatures with supernatural abilities and ghosts of the past. Also, it

seems as if all the creatures are protecting this one specific area. It’s uncharted

territory so I know nothing about this place, but whatever they are protecting

must be creating this illusion. I have discovered a part of this mystery. It con-

trols………..” and the journal ends there. Luckily for Mary and Joseph, the

night of horror awaits them.

Jonathan

Surrounded by endless fog and towering trees, Mary and Joseph wandered

aimlessly for hours. With terrifying sounds coming from all sides and the en-

vironment around them seeming to change every second, they were on the

verge of insanity. Mary felt her mind getting foggier and foggier, forgetting

why she had come here. Just a bit of curiosity satisfied was not worth being

put through this living hell. As she looked over at Joseph, a single clear

thought bolted through her mind as her desire to protect her brother made her

scream.

“Joseph, move! It’s a monster!”

Her brother didn’t respond, and just continued his walking in his zombie-

like state. She could only watch as the creature descended upon him and de-

voured his entire body. She screeched a horrible, ear-splitting screech, and ran

up to the creature, which quickly devoured her as well. To her surprise, she

passed right through the creature, and, for a split second, everything around

her was clear. Then she was back to the foggy world of the quiet zone. The

creature faded away into a flurry of light and her brother was nowhere in

sight. But she had seen enough to know that nothing in this world of fog was

real. It was all an illusion.

Page 9: Ryan's WAM

When inside the creature, she could see the real world. They were on an is-

land, which was littered with skeletons, most likely those of the people who

wandered until their doom. Looking for another creature to look through,

Mary set off on her search.

Marjelene

She heard her brother’s voice coming from what seemed like, one of the

skeletons. She couldn’t figure out which one it was coming from. She

searched dozens and dozens of them. All she could hear was a screeching

voice crying:

“Mary, Mary, help. Release me Mary, please, help.”

She saw a skeleton with its jaw moving. She hoped it was Joseph. It was.

“Joseph, Joseph, what happened to you? Joseph can you hear me?” Mary

said in tears.

“Mary, Mary, help. Release me Mary, please, help.” Joseph cried again.

Mary was confused. Release him? She thought to herself. She pleaded for

help on this deserted piece of land. Then, she reached her hand where Jo-

seph’s heart where to be, and she turned into a skeleton joining the rest of the

creatures and ghosts, protecting the land that was so forbidden. From that day

on, no one has entered this labyrinth of terror and no one knows why these su-

pernatural creatures were keeping it forbidden.

Random Poetry

Page 11: Ryan's WAM

The Importance of Nature Nature is most important. More than anything else. Nature is beautiful in every way possible. They are precious, like rubies or gold. Some plants may look ugly, But they help us a lot. Nature is our efficient air dispenser. Without it, we’d all be dead. Nature is an air dispenser, like an improved air tank that never runs out. It absorbs our carbon dioxide like a sponge. Then it changes it into oxygen, which we desperately need. Nature is more important than video games or money. It’s the most important thing.

Page 12: Ryan's WAM

The Beauty of Dreams…

Dreams are a way to escape reality, They are the boats that carry us through life. Dreams relax us like a soft wave gently cradling the rocks as it comes to greet the sand. It’s where people can experience everything they wished for. Dreams are like a magical genie that can grant us eve-rything we wish for during out slumber. Anything you wish for, the “ Dream Genie “ will grant it, but only when your imagination is active. That’s what’s awesome about dreams. Whatever you want, you’ll receive in your dreams.

Page 13: Ryan's WAM

Tomorrow…

Today, things are at a standstill.

Nothing new has begun.

You do the same old things as you always do,

But tomorrow will be different.

One moment you’re working and the next is a surprise.

That is what’s fun about life.

You never know what’s going to happen.

Anything good or bad may occur

But tomorrow is a surprise.

When you’re upset about one thing one day

,

Tomorrow will bring you up.

Tomorrow shall be a better future for all….

Education!

(The scene takes place in a vacant parking lot at noon. Two boys, Dan and

George, don’t really care about school that much. Right now, they have

ditched school and are planning to go somewhere to hang out.)

Act 1, Scene 1 out of 3

Dan: Where we gonna go? Your parents gonna snitch on us and beat us till we

spill. And my parents are going to take me home and get me grounded till I’m

50. We screwed.

George: Who cares? Just mess around till schools over. Just gotta wait a few

hours. Chill out. We can just drive around in your mom’s car. She gave ya the

keys right?

Dan: Yeah. Let’s go to some place to eat. Got nothing better ta do.

???: (Seeing Dan and George in the parking lot near the grocery store) Get

your butt over hear Dan!

Dan: Aww.... It’s my mom.

Mom: You better believe it! Now hurry up and get in the car and drive your

way back home! You too George! I already told your parents and you are get-

ting a whooping tonight!

Dan: (pointing at George) Haha sucks for you don’t it? All I gotta deal with is

some grounding.

Mom: You’re one to talk! You are supposed to be at school but here you are

fooling around! Your pa is gonna give it to ya!

George: (Turning his back and waving) Imma be walkin home.

Mom: (Grabbing Dan’s ear) Listen here! Pa’s gonna give you a whipping of a

lifetime! You better think before you act next time.

Dan: Ok. Ok. Ok.

Page 16: Ryan's WAM

(Three days later, Dan and George have lived one day in an abandoned house

with very little food and money left)

Act 1, Scene 3 out of 3

George: *sigh* what’re we gonna do now? We don’t got no more money and

we got no food.

Dan: The only way is to get a job. I guess I’ll be the one to get money because

my grammar is just a little bit better so the chances of hiring me instead of

you are higher. I can talk like y’all and have good etiquette.

George: That ain’t true. I could get a gooder job than you.

Dan: Suit yourself.

(Now Dan and George are off to get a job in order to earn money so they can

survive. Dan, who’s tired from walking around, starts complaining about how

hard it is to get a job)

Dan: (Laying on a concrete slab) Dude, this is impossible. Nobody is hiring

me and if they aren’t going to hire me, then they probably aren’t going to hire

you.

George: Man, whatever.

Dan: What’s the problem with us? We aren’t as bad as hobos.

George: I dunno.

Dan: (Standing up) I know the problem! It’s our education.

George: Our what? Who needs an education? All we need to do is find some

suckers that need some workers.

Dan: They wont hire us because we don’t have a good education! Don’t you

see?

George: Nope.

Page 17: Ryan's WAM

(This scene takes place in Dan’s messy bedroom. He only has his phone and a

couple of dirty magazines to entertain him.)

Act 1, Scene 2 out of 3

Dan: (Calling George) Hey where are you?

George: Away from home. Near that liquor store, you know the one that has a

bunch of graffiti all over it.

Dan: I’m grounded and I can’t do nothing.

George: *Sigh* you such a goody two shoes. Just jump outta your window.

Then me and you be on the lam. It’s that simple. We got this. Someone works

for money and someone runs to the store to get food. We can live at that aban-

doned house.

Dan: Already out of my house. Meet me at that park we used to play in.

(Dan is walking towards the park when he encounters something…)

Dan: What the….. Dude.... The cops are coming…

Officer: Have you seen any kids ditching school?

Dan: No sir.

George. Dude where are the cops?

Officer: Hmm? Why aren’t you at school?

Dan: (ending the call and rubbing his head) Sorry. I’m not at school because

I’m sick. (Fake coughing) My mom told me to get some fresh air.

Officer: Well ok. Stay Safe!

(The cop drives away, going in the opposite direction of Dan.)

Dan: (Calling back George) Sorry. The cops almost found out. Let’s go now!

Page 18: Ryan's WAM

Dan: Oh, my…… You are just too hardheaded! We need an education! What’s

the point of hiring stupid kids?

George: *sigh* fine. I’ll go back to school and get my education. If it’ll help

me get a good job in the future then I’m all in.

Dan: Alright!

The End!
