Use Striker Adjuster to move Striker side-to-side to align the Striker to Latch.

STEP 5: Install Keeper Assembly

Adjust Keeper assembly (Fig. 11) to align with 1.

adjustment has been reached when the line on the Keeper assembly reaches the gate face. (Fig. 10)

Secure Keeper Assembly to Gate in this 3.

Open gate and using a screwdriver, adjust the keeper assembly out to expose the remaining two

screws then return Keeper Assembly back to proper alignment (Fig.6).

STEP 6: Final Adjustments

1.Adjustments are needed, use the Horizontal Adjustment screw located in the Keeper

Adjustment holes located in the Lower Bracket (Fig. 12).

Lock in place with small countersunk screw.

The Striker Place Striker onto Latch.

Close gate & mark above & below Striker to set mount position.

Secure Striker to gate using X holes.

Using Striker Adjuster expose Z holes. Mount Striker using the Z holes.

Adjust up/down by removing small countersunk screw and slide Latch.

If Striker adjusts past this point the gate/fence gap is too great.

Check alignment marks on Striker sits within the two on Latch.

Maintenance: The TRIDENT™ latches should be inspected annually, or more frequently if the gate is used oft en. Use a non-toxic lubricant on all moving parts. Use mild soap & water to clean exterior body or unit. Always remove key upon locking. Occasion-ally re-ti ghten all mounti ng screws to assure proper operati ons. Please make sure product is adjusted properly per originally supplied instructi ons.

TRIDENT™ Series Latches

What Does This Warranty Cover? This warranty covers materials and workman-ship as well as any loss of functi onality in your new TRIDENT™, with the excepti ons stated below.

What Will Nati onwide Do? In the event of any defect in material or workmanship or loss of functi onality in the product covered under this warranty, Nati onwide will replace such TRIDENT ™with a new TRIDENT™ (or, in the event the TRIDENT™ is no longer available, a latch similar thereto) at no charge.

How Does State Law Apply? This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

How Long Does the Coverage Last? This warranty to the original purchaser (end user) runs for the durati on of one million cycles of use. Nati onwide Industries assumes this is a true lifeti me of use on residenti al applicati ons, and for commercial applicati ons will use an esti mate of usage based on each applicati on.

How Do You Get Service? In the event of any defect in material or workmanship, or failure in the TRIDENT™ covered under this warranty, please return the TRIDENT™ postage paid, together with proof of purchase and a brief writt en descripti on of the problem to Nati onwide Industries, 10333 Windhorst Road, Tampa, Florida 33619, Att enti on: Customer Service Manager.

What Does This Warranty Not Cover? This warranty is void in its enti rety in the event the TRIDENT™ is tampered with, altered, misused, neglected, damaged, improperly installed or maintained, repaired or att empted to be repaired by an unauthorized person, or used in any manner which is not in accordance with the instructi ons provided by Nati onwide. Nati onwide’s aggregate liability in damages or otherwise shall not exceed the payment, if any, received by Nati onwide for the TRIDENT™ furnished to you which is the subject of a claim or dispute. In no event shall Nati onwide be liable, whether in contract, in tort, under warranty, in negligence or otherwise for incidental, consequenti al, or special damages of any kind whatsoever, howsoever caused.

DISCLAIMER: A pool owner or operator is always responsible for the safety of those in or around the pool and, to the extent this product is used around a pool, the manufacturer and supplier of this device cannot and will not accept such responsibility. In additi on, the manufacturer and supplier of this device cannot and will not accept responsibility for unauthorized modifi cati ons to or for defecti ve or inadequate maintenance of this device. No modifi cati on to this device whatsoever is to be made other than with respect to the adjustments outlined in the installati on instructi ons. If this device fails to functi on properly, it should be returned promptly to the supplier for replacement.
