SolutionS
complianceWe know that meeting compliance and certification
requirements can be a challenge. Whether its
third-party certification to NFPA 1006 or meeting
the annual confined space practice requirements of
1910.146, we have the right program for you.
Our Rescue Technician certification programs
are based on the skills requirements of NFPA 1006
and 1670 and include both performance testing and
written exams. This third-party certification can
be used to document individual skills proficiency
of your team members in accordance with OSHA
1910.146 Permit-Required Confined Spaces.
If you choose to use our Contracted Safety
& Rescue Teams (CSRT), youll get this same
compliance and rescue capability. You can rest
a little easier knowing that our trained and
equipped rescue professionals are on site and
ready to respond.
You can also be confident in the equipment that
we offer. We only recommend what we use
equipment thats tried and proven on a daily basis
in our training programs and stand-by operations.
Our goal is to provide you and your team members
with the right equipment for the job that meets the
latest standards, such as NFPA and ANSI.

For courses conducted at our training facility, participants will practice rescue operations from all six (6) confined space types. These realistic scenarios can be used to document practice requirements required by OSHA 1910.146.
Simulated rescues from IDLH-type atmospheres that require the use of Supplied Air Respirators (SAR / SCBA) will also be included. Participants will be taught safe, simple and proven techniques that will allow them to effectively perform confined space rescues from elevated vessels and towers. Advanced Confined Space Rescue Scenarios
PREREquISITE: RESCuE I-PLuS OR INDuSTRIAL I / II40 HRS / FOuR 10-HOuR DAYS
This predominantly scenario-based course will challenge individual rescuers (and teams) in a wide variety of confined space and high angle rescue exercises. With the addition of new and more advanced techniques, students will enhance their skills and teamwork abilities in numerous practice scenarios.
As the problems progress in difficulty, students get a feel for executing an entire rescue operation from start to finish. By placing specific time limitations on each scenario, Rescue IV gives students the experience of working under pressure, just as in a real emergency.
Scenarios will be graded for safety and efficiency by our professional instructors, who will provide a debriefing of strengths and areas for improvement along with suggestions for enhancing effectiveness of operations. Rescue IV serves as compliance documentation for confirming rescue capabilities and skills proficiency in various confined space and elevated evolutions.
For courses at the Roco Training Center (or as the training location allows), practice scenarios will be conducted in all six (6) confined space types as per OSHA criteria. using more complex scenarios, including simulated IDLH atmospheres requiring the use of breathing air equipment (SAR and SCBA), this course will meet the minimum annual practice requirements of OSHA 1910.146.

Roco Rescue Challenge will document the teams confined space and high angle rope rescue capabilities as scenarios are completed and debriefed by Rocos professional evaluators. Teams will be informed of best practices in each scenario in order to improve their performance.
Each team will receive a Team Performance Evaluation report so that skills can be documented and deficiencies corrected as referenced in 1910.146.
As part of each practice session, a critique should be performed by the
team (or by another qualified party) so that deficiencies in procedures,

New from Roco instructors and design team engineersat CMC Rescue, the CMC / Roco Cobra Rescue Harness
represents a vast improvement in ease of donning and doffing, while maintaining all of the safety and comfort features youve come to expect with our harnesses. The centerpiece of our new harness is the patented (ANSI approved) Cobra buckle from AustriAlpin. Cobra buckles are, without exception, the worlds safest, most finely crafted, and strongest load-bearing, and quick release fasteners available. Cobra buckles are among the only safety buckles on the market that will not open while under load. We have also widened the waist strap of the harness to distribute the load across a greater surface area, which results in more comfort for the wearer. Another new feature is a Fall Indicator located near the dorsal D-ring. A red marker will appear if the harness has been subjected to excess forces. Signature features of the CMC / Roco brand remain, which include heavy-duty work-positioning side D-rings, Velcro Web-Keepers, and a larger center D-ring that will accept up to three rescue-size carabiners.
Meets NFPA and ANSI requirements for a Class III full-body harness.
