Act of Kindess Group creating Thank you’s and making pillows for Galion Hospital

February was a busy month for the Acts of Kindness Group in RNI, Inc. Crawford County. It take them extra time to get all of their Mailman thank you’s done, due to the bad weather. They also began a couple of new projects this month. The first one is take make and stuff pillows that will be donated to Galion Hospital for patients who have had abdominal surgery. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a wonderful relationship between us and the hospital. We finished 12 pillows and plan to double that in March, before we move onto a different project. The second was working on a no sew blanket to donate to Project Linus. In March, a couple of us are going to Toledo to spend the day with a group who gets together to work on blankets for children in the Toledo Hospital and for children who are put into foster care. Hopefully we can find ways to contribute to this organization! Story and photo credit to Jill Burling, RNI, Inc. Social Integration Coordinator. Thank you Jill!!
