Rick hansonRick Hanson, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist and founder of the Wellspring Institute for Neuro-science and Contemplative Wisdom. A summa cum laude graduate of UCLA, Dr. Hanson have written and taught about the essential inner skills of personal well-being, psychological growth, and contemplative practice as well as about relationships, family life, and raising children. He co-authored the book, Mother Nurture: A Mother’s Guide to Health in Body, Mind, and Intimate Relationships, the first book to present a comprehensive program that helps stressed and busy mothers take care for themselves and their relationships while car-ing for their children.
