Personal Statement
I am currently seeking employment as a Steward on a private or
charter yacht with the full view to work my way up into a Chief
Steward position. Although I have no yachting experience, I have
extensive hospitality experience as well as an enthusiastic
attitude to learn and great work ethic with willingness to
learn.
With over seven years of hospitality experience, working in New
Zealand and the United Kingdom, I have gained confidence in
managing all departments within Food & Beverage with around ten
staff and catering for around 200 people. I have worked extremely
hard to get to the managerial position that Im in but now a
combination of my love for travel and wanting to expand my horizons
has propelled me into wanting to get a steward position at sea on a
luxury yacht. I am excited for a new challenge and am willing to
work hard and take direction to achieve success in any area I work
in.
My future lies in the hospitality industry and in the very
distant future Id like to have my own operation focussing on
weddings and events.
