What is Wind Energy ??

Wind Energy is a indirect form of solar energy.

Wind is nothing but the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun.

Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into useful power energy.

In example using ; wind turbines to make electricity, windmills for mechanical power, wind-pumps for water pumping etc.

For generating electricity from Wind Energy BPDB (Bangladesh power development board ) installed 2 wind plant.

0ne at Muhuri Dam area of Sonagazi in Feni which is 4x225 KW = 900 KW capacity grid connected Wind Plant Another project at Kutubdia Island which is 1000 KW Wind Power battery.
