In the diagram above, the INVOICES modules on the left side are running on Windows systems. Scan and Verify run on select workstations in West Kingston, Galway, and the Philippines. Interpret and Transfer run on virtual Windows servers. The test system is in Galway because performance has been better with the INVOICES servers located in the same place as the Oracle EBS test servers. For production INVOICES will be running on a server in St. Louis. The INVOICEIT portion of the diagram resides inside the Oracle EBS database. The tables are in the XXIT3 schema. There are also some database objects in the APPS schema. All of the object names begin with XXIT3. A few of the key tables are XXIT3_INTERFACE where the data is inserted when it is imported from INVOICES. From there the workflow background process picks up the interface record and populates XXIT3_INVOICES and XXIT3_INVOICE_LINES. After the invoices are approved or matched to a purchase order they are imported through the standard Oracle payables open interface import.
