RAFTING VERONA: What you see is what you get!

In Verona, sailing the Adige river in its urban stretch (8,5 km

long).

Point of departure: Ponte Catena.

All the participants are briefed about the proper use of equipment, the main rowing techniques and the dinghy control.

Some trials: a speed race could be planned in the stretch between the ancient Customs House (XVII sec) and Ponte San Francesco, 800 m. down-river

Optional trials: during the rafting, it’s possible to plan some landings and drag participants into extra activities.

TIMING

10 a.m. - Meeting at the point of departure and first briefing: a short class about rowing techniques and goals to reach. Teams building and uniforms delivery (if requested). 11. a.m. - Boarding and first sailing: short class about how to familiarize with the dinghies. Landings. 12 a.m. - Speed race. 01 p.m. - Arrival. Prize giving and final cheers.
