Locally, he has performed with Denver Center

Theatre Company, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Theatreworks, and Curious Theatre Company, of which he is a member. Josh is a graduate of Oberlin College and Yale School of Drama, and a recipient of the Denver Post Award for Best Year by an Actor.

Lacey Connell (u/s Judy Garland) is making her Arvada Center debut. A graduate from Manhattan School of Music, Lacey studied voice with Ashley Putnam and Maitland Peters, and received her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. Her recent stage credits include Peter Pan in Peter Pan (Starkey Productions); Dorothy in

Wizard of Oz (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center); Bernice in Bingo (Starkey Productions); Trixie in Knuffle Bunny (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center); Elsa Schrader in The Sound of Music (Town Hall Arts Center); and Louise/Gypsy in Gypsy (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center).

Rodney Lizcano (u/s BBC Radio Interview, Porter, Assistant Stage Manager) A native of Texas with roots in New York and Colorado, Rodney returns to the Arvada Center after appearing in The Crucible and A Man For All Seasons. Other credits: Off-Broadway with Actors Ensemble Thea t re and

DreamScape Theatre Company; and ten seasons with Denver Center Theatre Company, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, Open Stage, Stories on Stage, Theatre Aspen, and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Film and TV credits: Silver City directed by independent filmmaker, John Sayles; and Stage Struck for Bravo Network. Training: Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University and National Theatre Conservatory.

Peter Quilter (Author) has had his work produced in major theaters throughout the world, playing in 40 countries and translated into 30 languages. He has had three successful plays in London’s West End and has twice been nominated for the Olivier Award (Best Comedy 2006 and Best Play 2011). End of the Rainbow premiered at Sydney Opera House in Australia, followed by hit productions in Amsterdam, Madrid, Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro and London. The play opened at Belasco Theatre on Broadway in April 2012, where it played for 176 performances and received three Tony® Award nominations. His other plays include Glorious!, The Morning After, Let It Snow, Duets, and his latest comedy, The Actress.

Chris Egan (Musical Arrangements) West End/London credits include: Crazy for You, End of the Rainbow, Never Forget, Grease, Daddy Cool, Footloose, and Calamity Jane. United Kingdom (UK) Tours: The Witches of Eastwick, The Wedding Singer, Kiss Me, Kate, Love Shack, and Strictly the Professionals. Television: Upstairs, Downstairs, Royal Variety Performance, An Audience with Dame Shirley Bassey, BBC Proms in the Park, and Girlstuff/Boystuff, among many others.

Concerts: Elaine Paige, Dame Shirley Bassey, and Lionel Richie. Egan has written arrangements and performed with many artists including Lionel Richie, Annie Lennox, Lady Gaga, Olivia Newton-John, Carl Davis, Ronan Keating, Robin Gibb and Leslie Bricusse.

Rod A. Lansberry (Director) is the Artistic Producer for the Arvada Center Performing Arts division. In addition to producing all of the Arvada Center’s theater productions, Rod has directed many of the Arvada Center’s award-winning productions including Camelot, Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, Hairspray, The Women, Miss Saigon, and Les Misérables.

David Nehls (Music Director) End of the Rainbow marks David’s 38th production at the Arvada Center. As Musical Director, David has worked across the country at a variety of theaters including: Riverside Theatre, Vero Beach, FL; American Music Theatre, San Jose, CA; Theatreworks Hartford; plus many theatres here in the Denver metro area. In New York, David is known as a Composer/Lyricist, having supplied music and lyrics for The Great American Trailer Park Musical, The Watercooler, Breach, and It’s a Wonderful Life, plus the opening numbers for the fundraiser Broadway Bares, 19 and 20. His new musical, The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical, premiered late last year at Stages Repertory Theater in Houston. He has also acted as Composer/Lyricist/Arranger/Musical Director for Carols for a Cure, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Christmas fundraising CD’s from 1998-2005. David is a member of Historic Elitch Gardens Theatre Foundation to restore Elitch Theatre at 38th and Tennyson.

Alan Bennett (Musical Staging) worked with Tracie Bennett’s understudy for the Broadway production of End of the Rainbow. For the Arvada Center he performed as Ensemble and u/s Migaldi in Evita, and as Ensemble and u/s Charlemagne in Pippin. Alan was the Dance Captain and u/s Carmen Ghia on the first National Tour of The Producers (original cast). Other tours include Beauty and the Beast and CATS. He has served as choreographer or assistant choreographer on numerous projects, and is a member of five theatrical unions.

Keith Ewer (Assistant to the Music Director, Percussion) has been the house percussionist at the Arvada Center since 1987. He is also the coordinator of the Front Range Youth Symphony here at the Arvada Center. Keith works as a freelance musician, arranger, composer, and music teacher in the Denver area. Keith music directed the current Arvada Center children’s theater production of Lyle the Crocodile.

Brian Mallgrave (Scenic Designer) serves as Resident Scenic Designer at the Arvada Center. Recent designs include Man of La Mancha (2013 Henry Award and 2013 Broadway World Denver Award), Camelot, The Mousetrap, and Blithe Spirit (2013 Henry Award Nominee). He was the recipient of Denver Post’s 2011 Award for Ongoing Achievement in Scenic Design. Other companies for which he has worked locally include Curious Theatre Company and Colorado Shakespeare Festival.

Shannon McKinney (Lighting Designer) most recently designed Man of La Mancha and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for the Arvada Center. She is a company member at Curious Theatre where her designs have included The Whipping Man, The Brother’s Size, Red (Henry Award for Outstanding Lighting Design), Becky Shaw, Homebody/Kabul, Eurydice, and Bug. Other recent projects include Metamorphoses and Painted Bread at Aurora Fox, and Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her regional credits include projects in Chicago at Steppenwolf, Goodman, Court, Northlight Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.

David Thomas (Sound Designer) designed A Christmas Carol, The Musical (2013), Camelot, Curtains, Man of La Mancha (Marlowe Award winner), Miracle on 34th Street, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Arvada Center. On Broadway, he was an associate/assistant sound designer for Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (Tony® nominated design), The Performers, Magic/Bird, Venus in Fur, Hair, and The Motherf**ker with the Hat. Regional designs include Yale Repertory Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Bucks County Playhouse, and Theatre Aspen. Mr. Thomas has also designed extensively in New York City. Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama.

Clare Henkel (Costume Designer) designed costumes for Nine (2011 Ovation Award), Miss Saigon, Cabaret, Sunset Boulevard, Ragtime, Twelfth Night, Chess, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dividing the Estate, and Camelot. Also Denver Center Theatre Company, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Old Globe Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego and San Jose Repertory Theatres, Aurora Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Dallas Theatre Center, Geva Theatre, Indianapolis Symphony’s Pops Consortium (including Carnegie Hall), Sacramento Theatre Company, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco and Idaho Shakespeare Festivals, and Maxim Gorky Theatre in Vladivostok, Russia.

Diana Ben-Kiki (Hair and Wig Designer) Arvada Center credits include: Lion in Winter, Chess, 12th Night, Legally Blonde, and Curtains. Diana has been the Wig Master at Denver Center Theatre Company for the last 19 seasons, where her credits include: Sense and Sensibility, White Christmas (Buell Theatre), A Christmas Carol, and Tantalus, to name only a few. Other local design credits include: Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Garner Galleria Theatre, Lone Tree Arts Center and other local theaters.

Lisa Cook (Production Stage Manager) has been an Arvada Center stage manager since 2004. Shows include: The Mousetrap, A Christmas Carol, The Musical, Man of La Mancha, Blithe Spirit, Hairspray, Ragtime, and Les Misérables.

Lisa A. Kurtz (Assistant Stage Manager) has been at the Arvada Center since 1995. She started on the running crew, moved into stage management and has been in this position ever since.
