spectator, but of one who looks at a thing with interest and for a purpose;]

213-292 Paul said, "Let's go on to perfection now." We're talking about perfected, and if we'll run this down,

you'll find out the perfected is the elected.

27-6 Now, the Bible said in the last days the antichrist would be so religious

and so much like the real thing till it would deceive the very elected, if it was possible. But it's not. That's right. And all... He would deceive all upon the earth whose names were not written in the Lamb's Book of Life since the last revival? That don't sound like the Bible,

does it? From the foundation of the world.

You ain't going to deceive them 'cause they're laying right in that Word. When they see those things

appearing [Brother Branham snaps his fingers--Ed.], it's Life, they catch it right

now.Others will walk around and say, "Aw,

there's nothing to that." See, they're not convinced. There's nothing there to convince them, nothing in them to

believe with.Mother used to say, "How can you get blood from a turnip when there's no

That's right. Out yonder in meetings, I pray for the sick and everything like that and on the side say things in a round

about way that the sheep hear it. They know what it's talking about.

Otherwise, it's just the bait on the hook. You see? I show the signs of--of trying to

show that God knows in discernment, and knows the hearts of the people, and

does these things.


That's an evangelistic gift just to stir the people. The first thing you know, a tape drops into their house; that's got it then. If he's a sheep, he comes right with it; if he's a goat, he kicks the tape

out.

Will we come to the Lord Jesus? We're getting ready to take a flight to never return again till the tribulation periods

are over and we return back for the Millennium. It's a long flight; it's all the

way into glory. Jehovah Eagle's a coming. We feel the power. We see the shadow. We hear His language as it's spoke

among His people. "My sheep know My voice, a stranger they'll not follow."

Now, we find out that these revelations come, and a man hears it. He

recognizes it to be God. Then he acts on it. The carnal mind hears it, and said, "Foolishness," and walk away from

it.

A real believer has heard the Word of God. He's recognized It to be the Word

of God. He will act on it.

4-2 Now, our eternal destination is not altogether determined by what we see

and what we hear, but it's determined on what discernment we have of what we see and what we hear.

know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

91 And that's the way it is of a man that's predestinated to Eternal Life. When

he sees the Light of God, there ain't enough organizations in the world to

cluck him back into it. No. Why? It's his nature. He might've been dieting with them a long time, and eating their trash and socials, but he comes to a place he's found something different, so he knows

it. "My sheep know My Voice," said Jesus, "a stranger they'll not follow."

They might be following something strange, but down in them there's

something different. Let them hear the Truth one time and watch them. "All

the Father has given Me will come."

It is not the person that comes predestinated eternally from God,

IT IS THE WORD, OR SEED.

Way back there, too far back for the human mind to grasp, the Eternal God with eternal thoughts, thought and decreed, "JACOB HAVE I LOVED, BUT

ESAU HAVE I HATED, (Romans 9:13) AND NEITHER WAS BORN, AND NEITHER HAD

DONE GOOD OR EVIL."


See, it was the THOUGHT, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought back Jacob, because Jacob alone

was SEED. Jacob, alone had the seed; that is why he had respect to the

birthright and covenant of God. If you are true seed, you will hear that

Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and

empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and

age.


Jesus WAS the Son. The Holy Ghost positioned Him as that Son before them all. Then having been filled thus (and the

same pattern holds at Pentecost and ever after), He went in demonstrated power, receiving the full revelation of God and from God, for that day.


Now we have been constantly saying that the true evidence of being baptized with the Holy Ghost is for the believer to receive the Word for the age in

which he lives.


...that message is received individually by only a certain qualified group in a

certain way. Each individual of that group is one who has the ability to hear

what the Spirit is saying by way of the messenger. Those who hear are not

getting their own private revelation, nor is a group getting their collective revelation, BUT EACH PERSON IS

HEARING AND RECEIVING WHAT THE MESSENGER HAS ALREADY RECEIVED

FROM GOD.


How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice which is the voice of God. Paul warned

them to say what he said, even as Peter did likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of

what he had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His messengers, and then

say what has been given them to say to the churches.

Did you get that last thought? I repeat, every church age ends with the same

admonition. "He that hath an ear, let him (an individual) hear what the Spirit saith

to the churches." The Spirit gives the Word. He has the truth for each age. Each age has had its own elect, and

that elect group always 'heard the word,' and received it, proving they had the Seed in them. John 8:47, "And he that is of God heareth God's Words. Ye therefore hear them not, because ye are

not of God."

They refused the Word (Jesus) and His Words for their days, but the true seed

received the Word because they were of God. "And ALL Thy children shall be

taught of God." (Holy Spirit) Isaiah 54:13. Jesus said the same thing in John 6:45. Being ONE WITH THE WORD proves whether you are of God and Spirit-

filled. No other criterion.
