Synonymous with the girl from Ipanema, the dramatic views from Christ the Redeemer atop

Copacabana Beach! I will go!

Copacabana Beach is in the Copacabana neighborhood, which has more than 150,000

inhabitants — the most densely populated area in Rio de Janeiro. Copacabana offers a wide

range of facilities, services and infrastructure for locals and visitors alike such as

supermarkets, banks, drugstores, nightclubs, restaurants, cafés, taxis, buses, subway, and above all, a stunning white sand long beach.

The fireworks display in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate New Year’s Eve is one of the largest in

the world, lasting 15 to 20 minutes. It is estimated that 2 million people go to

Copacabana Beach to see the spectacle.

How to get there!?A direct flight from, for example, New York,

London, or Paris to Rio de Janeiro takes approximately 10 hours. Copacabana is only 25-30 minutes away by taxi from the Rio de Janeiro

Christ the Redeemer stands proud at 130 feet tall, on top of Corcovado Mountain which

reaches 2,300 feet over the city. This Jesus means business and is one of the largest tourist attractions in the city. There is no disputing that

this is one destination that you must add to your itinerary when you visit Rio

de Janeiro during your Brazil travel. Christ the Redeemer is to Rio like the Eiffel Tower is to Paris, or the Statue of Liberty is to New York. It’s an instantly recognizable symbol of the

city.

Wait, 130 feet tall? How will I get

there?

The most popular and accessible way to get there is the twenty-minute tram ride that winds

through the Tijuca forest and up to summit. The tram leaves from the station on Rua Cosme

Velho every half hour, between 8:30 AM and 7PM, every day of the week.

To reach the tram station, many use the Integraçao Metro ticket, and take the metro bus

from Largo do Macho Metro Station (between the Flamengo and Catete stops).

Take the subway from Ipanema to Largo de Machado (3.20 reais pp)

Directly outside the Largo de Machado station look for the bus heading to Cosme Velho (2.75 reais pp)

From there you can take a taxi or the Corcovado railway to the summit.

Prices for a taxi ride to the Christ depend on the starting point, but are not too expensive. For example, a trip from Ipanema takes about fifteen minutes and should cost around R$20.

If you don’t feel like doing the planning yourself or you want to join in a bigger group to explore, you can join a tour of Christ the Redeemer from almost all of the hostels or hotels in the city. This is one of the most popular tours and usually includes Sugarloaf, Tijuca National Park and visiting various neighborhoods such as Lapa or Santa Teresa.

Municipal Theatre of São Paulo  is a theatre in São Paulo, Brazil. It is regarded as one of the landmarks of the city, significant both for its architectural value as well as for its historical importance, having been the venue for the Week of Modern Art in 1922, which revolutionized the arts in Brazil. The building now houses the São Paulo Municipal Symphonic Orchestra, the Lyric Choir and the City Ballet of São Paulo. The place which was chosen for the construction was “Morro do Cha”, or Tea Hill, which had been the site of the new Theater São José. Ramos de Azevedo was the engineer assigned to the construction. He was also helped by two Italian architects Cláudio Rossi and Domiziano Rossi. In 1903, construction began, and São Paulo gained one of the best venues in the world for the presentation of theatre productions, mainly operas. As it was customary in those days, the majority of the materials was imported from Europe, and the architectural reference was Theater alla Scala of Milan. The construction lasted about 8 years.

The” Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo Assis Chateaubriand “(better known by the acronym MASP ) is one of the most important Brazilian cultural institutions . The Opera House, The Amazonas Theatre was inaugurated on December 31,1896, and it is the most important architectonic from the prosperous rubber period and main artistic cultural patrimony of the Amazonas state. It describes as on the outside of the building, there is the dome covered with 36.000 decorated ceramic tiles painted in the colors of the national flag. In the shape of a harp, the central nave can set 640 in the auditorium, the stage curtain projects the painting ''Meeting of the Waters'', originally done in Paris by Crispim do Amaral. Travel Guide Parque Municipal Américo Renné Giannetti Belo Horizonte Opened on September 26,1897 even before the new state capital, Americo Renné Giannetti Municipal Park, it is the oldest environmental heritage of Belo Horizonte. Designed in the late nineteenth century by the construction committee to plan the new capital of Minas Gerais , the park is located in hypercenter, more densely populated area of the city. Despite having in area intensively managed, with the majority of existing species introduced after 111 years of its implementation, the park now forms a representative ecosystem with centenary trees and wide diversity of species.

The Municipal Park has several springs that supply the three lakes and nearly 280 species of exotic and native trees, fig trees, jackfruit, trees, bald cypress, flamboyant, eucalyptus, sapucaia, mulato, cockand and stick king. For leisure, the park offers, for free use, toys, fitness equipment, walking track, sports field, rink for skating and tennis. There is a fare of R$ 2.50 for as blackjack electronic toys like carousel, Ferris wheel, Giant Worm, rotor, safari and bouncy. You can take pictures and ride in a small train. The metropolitam Cathedral of Fortaleza draws attention for its grander . This wonderful historic monument comprises no less than five thousand faithful and its Gothic towers reach the impressive height of 75 meters. Inaugurated in December 1978 and designed by a French architect. The Cathedral took nearly forty years to complete due to lack of resources.
