In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (Contents Page) I have made my contents page similar to a contents page I found from a vibe magazine. In my research it was apparent to me that not many pages were like this. So I decided to challenge typical conventions that are used in most Hip/Hop magazines. I have positioned the rapper to the side to allow space for the features that I will be including. •In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (Contents Page)

I have made my contents page similar to a contents page I found from a vibe magazine. In my research it was apparent to me that not many pages were like this. So I decided to challenge typical conventions that are used in most Hip/Hop magazines.

I have positioned the rapper to the side to allow space for the features that I will be including. Originally he was in the centre so I had to use Photoshop to reposition him.

•In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (Double Page Spread)

Thus was my first attempt at making my double page spread. Me and my teacher decided that is was unconventional, and didn't challenge the current ones well enough. The gold boarders didn't work so I decided to re do my DPS. At the bottom left is a double page spread taken

form Vibe magazine. One side is an image picturing Usher with a quote and the right the interview with him , I feel that I have made my double page spread similar to it sticks with current conventions giving my magazine a more professional feel to it.
