RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: ~Majority farmers Wants' to adopt new production technology of wheat but availability of resources are not so much to fulfill there desires

The major reasons for low productivity includes

1. Delayed harvesting of kharif crops like cotton, sugarcane and rice

2. Late planting of wheat

3. Non availability of improved inputs like seed

4. Inefficient fertilizer use

5. Shortage of irrigation water

Page 12: Presentation1
Page 13: Presentation1

Wheat sowing campaign can only be helpful for farmer when the basic problems of farmer become minimized.Every farmer wants' basic needs for living i.e.• Subsidy in Electricity• Subsidy on seeds• Subsidy on fertilizers• Giving low interest on loan for small farmers• Availability of loan quickly with less terms ad conditions• Providing Government purchasing centre near to farmer field• Help farmer by purchasing crop directly from the farmer field

after harvesting.• Maintaining the price of crop at the time of harvesting and also at the time of sowing.• Help farmer financially, socially in case of any natural disaster

Wheat sowing campaign becomes more helpful for students as compare to Farmer.

Basic concepts and the application of theoretical knowledge can easily be testify by the student through such a type of

campaign

CONCLUSION: ~

RECOMMENDATIONS: ~

1. Early maturing varieties of rice and cotton should be introduced to resolve issues related to late sowing of wheat.

2. Supply of inputs must be ensured before planting season at reasonable prices and without adulteration.

3. There should be an incentive in terms of subsidy in inputs like seed, fertilizer and herbicides for farmers who complete their wheat planting in November.

4. Application of Potash to the wheat crop on tube well irrigated soils or crop sown after rice is essential.

5. Late planting should be completed by 15 December and all fertilizers be applied at planting time.

The metaphor of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah is that of a grain that produces seven ears: in every ear there are a hundred grains. Allah gives such multiplied increase to whoever He wills. Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. (Surat al-Baqara : 261)
