    Creating Fuel from Food Waste

There can be a plant/processor that usesfruit and vegetable waste to createmethane, which can then be used as a fuelfor vehicles.

Plant/processor will use differentmicroorganisms to digest the food waste andproduce the methane, which is then

compressed into cylinders and used as fuel.Because food waste contains a lot of water,

it will ferment fairly quickly, creating thebiogas in just a few days.

The bioconversion of food waste (biomass)means converting food waste into gas(gasification) and liquid fuels.

These gases and/or liquids can be used as analternative energy source or a means tomanufacture environmentally friendlyproducts/Run the vehicle.

Hydrogen has 3 times more positional energyby weight than petrol making it highestenergy content fuel which we get by usingbacteria.

REASON FOR DEVELOPING THISProjectWith the increasing threat of global warming,

more and more nations and organizations areresearching into and implementingalternative energy sources to replace moretraditional energy sources which we canobtain by this method.

There is an urgent emphasis to develop

alternative energy.Utilizing alternative sources to manufacture

products that are used daily, and that are moreenvironmentally friendly.

In the same way, wind, sun, water and

    ADVANTAGES

Everyone have this processor in there home.

Easy to operate/easy to produce biodiesel

Biomass fermented ethanol can be used in

vehicles and thus replace traditional fuels. Produces very low level of emission.

Optimum utilization of fruits and vegetables,

    thus reduce waste. Eco-friendly.

Reduces burden on scarce resources like diesel, petrol etc.

    Saving considerable money.
