The tagline instantly gives the readers the readers an insight into the film.

The colour scheme of the poster is mainly blue and black which completely contrasts and compliments each other as blue connotes peace and black is connotes destruction and disorder which is highlighted by the picture and the tagline. The image displayed of the total destruction of a burning building with batman as the central image depicts the traditional scenario of the super hero that has come to save the day. The batman logo also displayed upon the burning building could show either the destruction of the superhero or the comeback. Which leads the readers into suspense.

Batman the hero stands as the central protagonist; standing in his very famous suit.

The title which has be in crested with the logo of batman. The title and logo used together both compliment the mystery of knowing who batman really is and also whether he really is a superhero or a superhero gone bad.

The Coming debut of the film is given but not completely leaving the readers in suspense of when the film will come out in July.

The illustration of the actors in the film gives the readers a sense of excitement to wanting to see their favourite actors.

The description in the small print illustrates all if the characters that are involved including the production showing the sign of recognition to all who were involved.

• The central image is one of the main characters in film. Showing the main character also gives the readers a sense of excitement to go and watch the film.

• The expression that is shown on the characters face is quite incising. Which instantly attracts the readers to her face.

The background being white completely makes all the attraction be shown to the main central image. Furthermore the use of sparkle in the mist of the image gives the highlight of the fairy tale.

• The famous bad apple which is significantly highlighted in this poster to illustrate how they are sticking with the similar themes and conventions of the traditional fairy tale.

The main title also illustrates the traditional use of the story using “Mirror Mirror”. The Font used in the poster has been traditionally used throughout many fairy tales showing the continuation of using the conventions. Also highlighting that the film is aimed at very young children.

The tagline used shows towards the readers how the famous fairy tale has been adapted.The debut date highlights when the film will come out telling the readers to be ready to see it. And also that they should put in their diaries so they can remember.

The display of the actors in the poster shows how they are all important in the film. The image of the huntsman shows exact what he stand for as the huntsman's is known in fairy tales for rescuing the damsel . However as seem Snow White is not a damsel as she is a countertype dressed as a warrior. And typically the witch is the main emblem of the poster. Her dressing shows that she has become like a crow with the mise en scene using the crows which represent death to surround her. Implicating she is a witch that kills for what she desires.

The background gives the readers into a insight into the film with the display of the castle and the use of the crows overshadowing the castle. Detailing how death and destruction has overcome the kingdom.

The use of hint telling the audience about the producer. Gives the readers and the potential film goers that the film is as good as Alice in wonderland because of the Producer.

The title illustration in gold goes back to the fairytale of how it is displayed as shown in Mirror Mirror. The knife that separates the title presents how the fairy tale is very different from the children version of Snow White.

The credits which are given at the bottom to recognize the actors and all of the production crew which the readers may know.

In many Horror and thriller films the illustration of the title is very important aside from the main picture. The title font and illustration ‘House of Wax’ gives away the genre of the film which is a thriller/ horror. The use of the two different colours and the effect of 3D to highlight title the film makes the title stand out even more.
