Creation of Field Group for PMS Project Code

One has implemented the improvement with the Project Code field group creation, which allows one to change the code size. To make possible this improvement, it is necessary to apply the update package (Patch) of this call.
Procedure for Implementation
The system is soon brought up to date after applying the update package (Patch) of this call.
Important
Before executing the UPDSIGAPMS compatible, it is essential:
a) Do a backup of the product database where you will execute the compatible (\PROTHEUS11_DATA\DATA) and SX data dictionaries (\PROTHEUS11_DATA\SYSTEM).
b) The above-mentioned directories correspond to Protheus standard installation; therefore, they must be modified in agreement to the product installed in the company.
c) This routine must be executed in exclusive way, that is, no user may be using the system.
d) If the data dictionaries have customized indexes (created by the user); before executing the compatible, be sure that they are identified by nickname. If the compatible needs to create indexes, it will add them from the original order installed by Protheus, what may overwrite customized indexes, in case they are not identified by nickname.
e) The compatible must be executed with Referential Integrity deactivated*.
Warning The procedure to follow must be performed by a qualified professional as Database Administrator (DBA) or equivalent! The improper activation of the Referential Integrity can drastically modify the relationship between tables in the database. Therefore, before using it, notice carefully the following procedures:

This improvement depends on execution of UPDSIGAPMS base update, according to Procedures for Implementation.

i. In the Configurator (SIGACFG), see if the company uses Referential Integrity, selecting the option
Integrity/Verification (APCFG60A).
ii. If there is not active Referential Integrity, it will relate in a new window all the companies and branch
offices registered for the system and none of them will be selected. In this case, AND ONLY IN THIS, it is
not necessary another procedure of integrity activation or deactivation, it is enough to finish the
verification and to apply the compatible normally, as instructions.
iii. If there is active Referential Integrity in all the companies and branch offices, it shows a message in
the window Verification of relationship between tables. Confirm the message so the verification is
concluded, or;
iv. If there is active Referential Integrity in one or more companies, but not in its totality; it lists in a new
window all the companies and branch offices registered for the system and, only, the ones that have
integrity are selected. Write down what companies and/or branch offices have active integrity and reserve
this note for later consultation in the reactivation (or still, contact our Framework Help Desk for information
about a file that contains this information).
v. In those cases described in the items iii or iv, AND ONLY IN THESE CASES, it is necessary to
deactivate such integrity, selecting the option Integrity/Deactivate (APCFG60D).
vi. When the Referential Integrity is deactivated, execute the compatible, according to instructions.
vii. Applied the compatible, the Referential Integrity must be reactivated, IF AND ONLY IF it has been
deactivated, through the option Integrity/Activate (APCFG60). Hence, keep in hands the information of
the companies and/or branch offices that have integrity activation, select them again and confirm the
activation.

1. In Microsiga Protheus ByYou Smart Client, type UPDSIGAPMS in the Initial Program field.
Important
For the correct update the data dictionary, be sure the compatible date is equal or after 03/13/2015.
2. Click OK to continue.
3. Then, it shows the Update ended window with the (log) history of all the processed updates. In this update log, it will only present the fields updated by the program. The compatible creates the fields that do not exist in the data dictionary yet.
4. Click Record to save the (log) history presented.
5. Click OK to close the processing.
