Precision Molding’s Background and Capabilities

Precision Molding, Inc. began operations in 1987, Sarah and Doug Boles began producing 5 products in a rented 4,000 square foot building.

Since the passing of Doug in 2005, Sarah has been the sole owner of PMI. Today, PMI is located on a level 32 acres of property located between Cookeville and Sparta,

TN in a plant in excess of 100,000 square feet. PMI employs approximately 160 hourly associates and 15 salaried associates operating in a

Non-Union environment. Being located in Rural Middle Tennessee, between Nashville, Knoxville and directly north of

Chattanooga, comparable operators wages are low, although resulting in a high quality environment.

Our location is centrally located to achieve overnight deliveries to the industrial and commercial communities of the Heartland Midwest, the Ohio Valley, The Piedmont and Appalachian areas, throughout the Southeast and Mid-Southwest.

PMI’s specialties are high-pressure injection and blow molding. PMI utilizes more than 50 thermoplastic molding presses including

injection, vertical and blow molding machines ranging in press range from 50 to 750 tons of clamp pressure

PMI offers value-added services complimenting our injection molding to create a one-stop shop.

PMI has the ability in addition to molding to decorate and assemble components saving the customer time, money and your efforts managing multiple vendors and scheduling.

PMI produces quality pad-printing, hot stamping, and metal stamping to your exacting specifications.

Pad Printing and Decorating

PMI has the capabilities to “decorate” your products PMI has 5 pad print and 1 hot stamp presses to compliment our injection

molding and assembly processes PMI’s trained associates have the ability to add a single color in pad

printing accenting your components Rotary Tables on our equipment allow pad printing to be versatile and

economical
