Baghi’s grew from the wish to rediscover the real taste of ingredients; simples, which need only tradition and passion to become a real taste experience. Fresh natural yeast, stone ground flour, free range fresh eggs from local farmers are the principal ingredients or our products. If the ingredients are goods, they don’t need additives. If the product is fresh, it doesn’t need preservatives. THE INGREDIENTS Natural yeast The fresh natural yeast has been used for ages to bake. It consists of dough made from flour and water that allows the products to rise through natural fermentation. Nothing more simple and natural. In order to keep the natural fermentation process going on, the natural yeast is daily refreshed and kneaded adding water and flour, and this part of the process must be made every day. Baghi’s natural yeast derives from an original dough that is over 90 years old; it means that someone has been taking care of it day by day along a whole century. Stone groud flour We choose to use only selected stone ground flour. Thanks to that the consumer can fully appreciate the taste and nutrition properties of wheat. An elementary process that has been known and used all along man’s history. To value the tradition and the best food raw materials, Baghi’s products are made only with fresh eggs from small local ranges who can guarantee the wellness of their animals. The eggs has been broken one by one, the best way to honour a real artisanal product. Fresh eggs Butter Baghi’s use only best quality Belgian and French butter, obtained by churning milk. It’s aclean-tasting butter with a light yellow color and an ultra creamy texture. OUR PRODUCTS Panettone and Pandoro For our Panettones and Pandoros, the most important ingredient is patience. Firstly the preparation of our yeast takes approximatly 10 hours. Then, the leavening process takes about 50-60 hours. Panettone Tradizionale With candied orange and raisins, is the classic recipe of Italian Panettone. Panettone Cioccolato With dark chocolate Panettone Special With candied apple, or marron glacé, or black cherries, or Strudel. Panettone Quattrostagioni A single Panettone with 4 different flavour, as the 4 year seasons. Chocolate, black cherries, pear and marron glacé. Panettone alla Grappa With barrique Grappa or Honey Grappa. Alcoolic! Torchiatone With Sweet Wine. a bit alcoolic! Pandoro With his classic star-shaped, it’s an Italian Christmas symbol. With Italian honey. Panettone pour paté et foie gras With candied lemon, orange and apple, and a touch of rosemary, this little panettone was create to taste foie gras, savoury patés and great cheeses and charcuterie.
