Penguin’s Appearance

A penguin has razor-sharp beak They are black and white with orange or

gray Their stream lined bodies makes them

good swimmers. Penguins are covered in feathers and

have stumpy little legs. Penguins have webbed feet short necks.

Penguin Habitat

Penguins live in cold seas around Antarctica

Penguins live south of the equator Penguins live on the coasts of South

Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Peru, and the Galapagos Islands

The female penguin lays an egg Eggs must be kept warm, so the chicks
