Spirit laminate flooring is good for the next generation. Not only because our children can play on it unconcerned.

But also because the wood that Spirit laminate flooring is made of comes from PEFC-certified, sustainable forestry in Europe: a new tree is planted for each one that is used. Do your bit and contribute to environment and sustainability and plant a tree.

The production process is also sustainable. Dried wood fibres are pressed into the particle board and the natural appearance of wood flooring is created with a subsequent direct printing process. The colours and textures of the flooring are printed onto the particle board in several layers. Solvent-free coating systems set the colours, give the flooring the desired structure and create a durable finish.

FROM THE TREE TO THE PRODUCT ! A CLOSED CYCLE

Using the valuable raw material wood in the best way possible is a fundamental concern of EGGER. The corporation therefore counts on fully integrated company locations. There, wood is initially used in a material form. This extends from solid wood production in the sawmill up to the production of wood materials such as laminate floorings. Residual wood and recycling wood that cannot be used for production is used thermally in our own biomass power plants. The CO₂ created in all production stages is in turn absorbed by the regrowing trees and transformed to oxygen. A fully closed biological material cycle is created. In this way EGGER makes „more from wood“.

Compared to other flooring products, the use of flooring made from wood is particularly easy on the environment. EGGER uses wood from sustainable forestry for the production of laminate flooring.
