Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Parade of Perfection sale and the excitement and energy that a sale of this quality and magnitude exudes. I am thoroughly overwhelmed by the generosity of consignors - as they have offered their very best to compliment the very heart and soul of my breeding program and together generating one of the fi nest assemblages of registered Holsteins to be presented at public auction.
As in the 2008 edition of the Parade of Perfection that averaged $20,000, there will be an offering of animals for every budget and every dairymans likings, specifi cations, and demands. From the $5000 show calf to the million dollar fl ush cow package, each consignment shares one common denominator.. all are out of the best show cows, brood cows, contract cows, or cow families in North America.
The last Parade sale produced an abundance of success story purchases like lot 80B, MS Dundee Belinda-ET, a 9 month old heifer that Howard Binder bought for Rocco Cunningham at $21,700. She went on to win for Rocco as a summer yearling in the Junior show at World Dairy Expo in 2008 and then freshened in as a young Jr 2 Yr Old in 2009 when she was 1st at the Western National and garnered 4th place in an exceptional Jr 2 year old class at World Dairy Expo paving the way for an All-American nomination. Belinda will sell in the 2010 Parade sale as one of the feature attractions and ready to contend as a future star in the International showring spotlight for years to come.
On the top end, this years sale showcases several All-Americans and All-Canadians as well as a multitude of nominees from 2009 that should contend or go all the way in 2010. Outstanding 1st Choice females from both the black and white and red and white Grand Champions at World Dairy Expo sell, along with numerous daughters of current and past All-American and All-Canadian winners.
High index young cows sell with hundreds of thousands of dollars in embryos and AI contracts and two magnifi cent packages sell (Lot 1 Ariel and Lot 2 Brasilia) that should provide immediate and impressive returns on these world class investments. The internationally renown Chassity sold in August 2009 at the International Intrigue sale as a package with 15 female and 11 male offspring for an unprecedented $1,500,000. Since the sale 3 daughters have sold for $239,000 and her Goldwyn son, Casino, is among the highest GTPI and net merit young sires in the world. He is to be released in 2010 and is on an open end lease that could potentially pay the bill on the entire Chassity package! Chassitys Goldwyn daughter genomic tested +2463 GTPI and $915 net merit, ranking her the #1 Goldwyn in the breed for both GTPI and net merit! Her value and potential earning power is unlimited!
The industry has progressed to amazing heights with the advent of genomics, in-vitro fertilization, and sexed embryos. Join in the exploration and profi tability of this cutting edge technology and be with us February 27th for this explosive lineup of incredible genetic opportunities.
Sincerely, Jeff Butler
