Why choose to study an online IB Diploma Programme Course through an IB Open World School?

The IB vision for online education• Strategically extend subject choice for students.• Promote rich student-student and student-teacher

Course Quality

Course quality: Key facts

• Courses are designed by IB-experienced instructional designers, working with IB-approved subject matter experts.

• Each course is approved by the IB prior to delivery. Course delivery is monitored by the IB on an ongoing basis.

• Teachers are IB-experienced and specially trained in online pedagogy – selected in accordance with strict IB guidelines.

• Internal Assessments are subject to the same requirements as (including moderation) as in ‘face2face’ courses. Students can sit the regular External Assessments at nearby IB schools.

• No distinction is made on the IB Diploma as to whether the course was taken face2face or online.

Course Delivery

Course delivery: Key factsLessons follow a weekly schedule

• Students should expect to commit the same amount of time to the online courses as they would with a typical face to face IB course (including homework).

During the week, students can work on courses anytime, anywhere

• Pamoja Education encourages students to access their courses in regularly scheduled ‘in-school’ and ‘out of school’ work periods.

Students work closely with their online teachers• In addition to direct support of class work, teachers

provide extra support through monitored ‘discussion threads’ and ‘real time’ office hours.
