PF Key and Scribe Script

Automated Distribution Feature User Guide

Version 1.0, October 2018

Overview Forget the hassle of distributing ever-changing agency PF Keys and Scribe Scripts through email or drives

anymore. Distribute PF Keys and Scribe Scripts to your agents with ease using the Sabre Red App Centre.

Just like with traditional Sabre Red Apps, administrators can choose which users to push bundles to, down

to the PCC and EPR level. Learn how you can increase efficiency and productivity by reviewing the PF Key

and Scribe Script Automated Distribution feature user guide below.

Upload a New PF Key To upload a new PF Key through Sabre Red App Centre, complete the steps below.

1. Login to Sabre Red App Centre.

2. Click on “My Red Apps” from the left side menu. A drop-down menu will appear.

3. Click on “PF Keys and Scribes.”

4. Click on “Submit a New PF Key App.”

5. Fill out applicable fields and upload your PF Key bundle. Please provide beta tester user(s) by PCC

in your submission.

6. Click “Submit.”

Submit After uploading your PF Key bundle, Sabre’s automated online Validation Service (SVS) will run

tests for initial technical validation, then wrap the PF Key bundle as a Sabre Red App. This step

will take up to two business days.

Test After successful validation of SVS, the PF Key bundle will be available for your beta test user(s)

on the production environment of new Sabre Red Workspace to ensure the PF Key bundle

functions properly. To test, have your selected beta test users complete the steps below.

1. Login to the production environment new Sabre Red Workspace.

2. Click on the dotted dropdown menu under “Command Helper.”

3. Click on “PF Keys”

4. Your new PF Keys should populate below the Command Bar. Test the PF Keys to

ensure they function properly.

5. Once the beta test user(s) have tested in the production environment of new Sabre

Red Workspace, the Red App Centre admin will need to “Pass” or “Fail” the PF Key

bundle in Sabre Red App Centre under the “Developed” tab. Select the button under

the “Action” column for the specific PF Key.

6. Once marked “Pass,” the Red App will be published.

Publish If the PF Key bundle has passed beta-testing on the production environment of new Sabre Red

Workspace, it will be automatically published and is ready to order. If the PF Key bundle has

failed testing, it will be removed from the production environment and you will need to resubmit

a new PF Key bundle.

Distribute Just like ordering a traditional Sabre Red App, you can order and distribute your new PF Key

bundle through Sabre Red App Centre. Complete the steps below.

1. Login to Red App Centre.

2. Click on “Orders” from the left side menu.

3. Click on “PF Keys and Scribes.”

4. Select the approved beta tested PF Key bundle.

5. Finally, select or upload PCCs to distribute the PF Key bundle to and press submit.

Updating an Existing PF Key Bundle To update an existing PF Key bundle, complete the steps below.

1. Login to Sabre Red App Centre.

2. Click on “My Red Apps” from the left side menu. A drop-down menu will appear.

3. Click on “PF Keys and Scribes.” A table with information on all your existing PF Key bundles will

appear.

4. Click on the “Details” status button on the specific PF Key bundle you would like to edit.

5. Once inside the specific PF Key bundle, click on “Submit New Version.”

6. Fill out applicable fields and upload your updated PF Key bundle. Please provide beta test

information by PCC in your submission.

7. Click “Submit.”

8. Testing will be available immediately for beta users.

9. Once testing is complete, “Pass” or “Fail” the updated PF Key bundle in Sabre Red App Centre.

10. When approved, the updated PK Key bundle will be available to order in one business day.

Upload a New Scribe Script To upload a new Scribe Script through Sabre Red App Centre, complete the steps below.

1. Login to Sabre Red App Centre.

2. Click on “My Red Apps” from the left side menu. A drop-down menu will appear.

3. Click on “PF Keys and Scribes.”

4. Click on “Submit a New Scribe App.”

5. Fill out applicable fields and upload your Scribe Script bundle. Please provide beta tester users by

PCC in your submission.

6. Click “Submit.”

Submit After uploading your Scribe Script bundle, Sabre’s automated online Validation Service (SVS)

2. Click on the “Tools” and select “Scribe Scripts.”

3. Execute the Scribe Script(s) to ensure they function properly.

4. Once the beta test user(s) have tested in the production environment of Sabre

Red Workspace, the Sabre Red App Centre admin will need to “Pass” or “Fail”

the Scribe Script bundle in Sabre Red App Centre under the “Developed” tab.

Select the button under the “Action” column for the specific Scribe Script.

5. Once marked “Pass,” the Red App will be published.

Publish

If the Scribe Script bundle has passed beta testing on the production environment of

new Sabre Red Workspace, it will be automatically published and is ready to order. If

the Scribe Script bundle has failed testing, it will be removed from the production

environment and you will need to resubmit a new Scribe Script bundle.
