Please remember in your prayers those who are in grief and mourning because of the loss of a loved one. May they rest in peace.

Donna Vondrak

(Sister of Pat Graham)

All Members of Nativity & Immaculate Concep-

tion Parishes are invited to the Thanksgiving Day Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity. The youth of both parishes will be sponsoring this Mass as a way of saying thank you for all your love and support. During the Mass, we are asking if you would bring with you either a wrapped toy marked for girl or boy with the age range. These toys will be going to military children at Christmas - yes, they have a need! Or you may bring boxes of bars, hand warmers, etc. or any item that would fit into a large zip lock bag which will be filled by the youth and dispensed to the warming shelter or to the soldiers who will be deployed to the hills of Afghanistan Join us for Mary: A Biblical Walk With The Blessed Mother at Nativi-ty on Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. beginning November 17 and at Im-maculate Conception on Thursdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. beginning No-vember 19. P.I.N.G. News - As the holidays approach we will be stocking a variety of $5 and $10 gift cards for stocking stuffers and teacher or paperboy gifts. They should be coming in within the next few weeks. Confraternity of Christian Mothers will meet for Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17. Breakfast to follow in the Parish Center. The Youth of Nativity Parish would like to show appreciation to our military men and women. During the month of November we will be teaming up with Support Siouxland Soldiers to collect items to be made into care packages for our soldiers. A box will be set up in the back of the church during the weekend Masses of November 21, 28 and Decem-ber 5. Non-perishable items that are needed include: baby wipes, hand warmers, tooth brushes, toothpaste, cookies, beef jerky, power bar, tuna pouches, travel size games (chess, checkers), deck of cards, hard candy, blue & black pens, notebooks, envelopes, travel size packets of laundry detergent, powdered drinks, especially Gatorade, batteries, crossword puzzles, word searches, soduku. Jesus Is The Reason for the Season! Any youth of Nativity Parish (and their parents) are welcome to join at the Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence (CSADV) to wrap Christmas presents for less fortunate children. Children in the 3rd grade or under need to be accom-panied by an adult. Monday, December 21. We will have 2 shifts: 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. They can accommodate 15-20 volun-teers at each time slot.
