8TDGS

Main functions

• The 8TDGS card receives eight optical signals ( 2.5G/622M/155M/GE) from the client side, performs the O/E conversion, then converges the electrical signals into four STM-16 signals and sends them to the XCU card for cross-connect.

Summary: 8TDGS works together with LMS2E&XCU

LMS2E

Main functions

LMS2E card receives four STM-16 or OTU1 signals from the XCU card, converges the signals, performs the O/E conversion, and outputs one OTU2 signal with standard DWDM wavelength to the optical multiplexer card or the optical add / drop multiplexer card for WDM

OTU2S

Main functions

• The OTU2S card receives one STM-64 / 10GE optical signals from the client side, performs the O/E conversion and converts the signals into the OTU2 signal (10.7G) with standard DWDM wavelength, and outputs the converted signal via the WDM side optical interface to the optical multiplexer card or the optical add / drop multiplexer card for WDM.

Notes: our project has 2 OTU2S,and our project will transmit 2*10GE singnal from HEAD END to Punta Carnero
