HISTORYBollé® has always been at the forefront of performance, design and

fashion. Starting with Seraphin Bollé’s early experiments with celluloid

combs in Oyonnax, France, Bollé has made a point of applying the latest

materials and innovations. This spirit led Seraphin’s son, George, to take

their advanced experience with molding and nylon materials and apply

it to the world of eyewear, setting the stage for even more innovations,

like nylon construction and the iconic cat eye frames.

our lenses. That’s why Bollé® offers a vast array of technological refinements

in each of our lenses that push eyewear, and your game, to new heights.

Modulator™ lens Whether you notice it or not, light conditions are constantly changing. The Modulator lens

adapts by utilizing Active Cell Technology,™ which works on a molecular level, to lighten and

darken, giving you the optimal light transmission for your current environment. The Modulator

lens adjusts, so your eyes don’t have to. The photochromic technology is embedded within

the lens, under a highly protective hard coat.

Polycarbonate lensesSunglasses should protect you from more than just the bright sun. Our polycarbonate lenses

are made from premium-grade resin, resulting in a lens that is 20 times more impact-resistant

than glass and three times lighter, with unrivaled optical precision and clarity.

with the face’s natural shape while maximizing peripheral vision. This provides protection

Exclusive to Bollé® , this manufacturing process injects molten metal alloys into custom

conditions, then easily snap them into place. All lenses feature P80-Plus

anti-fog and Carbo Glas® anti-scratch technology. Modulator™ lens:

When conditions are changing rapidly, Modulator photochromic lenses

adjust so you don’t have to. impacto lenses: These 10-base polycarbonate

(PC) lenses are 5 times more impact-resistant than standard PC lenses,

providing protection from road debris when cycling and rockfall when climbing.

Adjustable nose pads can be tailored to fit your nose perfectly, keeping

the frame securely on your face. The ratcheting temple also adjusts for

a customized fit.

To maintain clear vision during high-exertion activities, just snap in the

moisture-absorbing foam sweat bar. The Traverse also accommodates a

full-face gasket, which can be attached to provide comfort and protection

from harsh weather elements.

By pushing a small button on the inside of the temples, the temples can be

removed and replaced with a comfortable, adjustable strap. This is great for

highly mobile activities like Nordic skiing.

With more than 60 years of experience in the sunglass

business, Bollé continues to design and develop the

most durable, comfortable and functional sunglass

products in the industry.

liMited WarrantyBollé warrants to the consumer that for one year from

the date of purchase, we will repair or replace, at our

option, any Bollé product that is defective in materials

or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to

products that have been lost, altered, broken or

damaged by misuse, failure to follow instructions or

normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental

frame breakage. For this warranty to apply, purchase

must have been made in the United States from an

authorized Bollé dealer and you must have the proof

of purchase. Only authentic Bollé products will be

warranted. This warranty shall not apply to any defect

or damage caused by improper or unreasonable

use of this product. Bollé lenses are not warranted

against scratching. All warranties that are implied

by law are also limited for one year from the date

of purchase. Consumers may send damaged or

defective products with proof of purchase from an

authorized Bollé dealer to:

care and usePlease take care of your Bollé sunglasses. On those

rare occasions when you aren’t wearing them,

store them in their case. Warning: Bollé lenses are

scratch-resistant, not scratchproof. If you take a

few precautions to preserve the lenses, they will

last for many years. Bollé does not warrant against

normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental

frame breakage. To clean lenses, blow loose particles

off the lenses, then clean with an optical lens cloth

or soft cotton cloth. A non-granular mild liquid soap

diluted with warm water can also be used on the cloth.

Never use paper products to clean lenses.

Since salt is highly abrasive, rinse lenses with fresh

water before cleaning.

Store glasses in their protective case when not in use.

Do not place lenses facedown on any surface.

Never put your sunglasses loose in a pocket or purse

where objects may damage lenses.

Do not leave your sunglasses where conditions are

intensely hot or cold (for example, on the dashboard

of your car).

Caution: Do not wear for night driving or for impact

sports, or use as safety glasses. Bollé sunglasses

comply with ANSI Z80.3 requirements. Lenses meet

Conn SgSt40 and FDA impact requirements, but

are NOT SHATTERPROOF. All Bollé products (with

lenses of nominal plano power) are in compliance

with Council Directive 89/686/EEC (PPE) and are

CE marked accordingly.
