Forum Objectives The forum shall specify a common and open e2e solution

for supplying a variety of IPTV and internet multimedia services to retail based consumer equipment in the home network

The Forum shall consider the establishment of certification and logo programs to ensure the e2e interoperability

The Forum shall have all the key players included, e.g. CE vendors, Content providers, Network Operators, Service Providers, Network Equipment Vendors and Home Network Equipment Vendors

The Forum shall strive for improved Time-to-Market compared with “traditional” standardization bodies

Call for Membership The Forum is open for Membership Applicants that

are committed to actively contribute to the agreed objectives of the forum

The Applicant needs to accept the Terms & Conditions of the Open IPTV Forum Agreement and state their commitment to the technology choices within the Technology Framework Document

The Applicant will be invited to the Steering Group for presentation of their membership application
