The Sales Pitch IOneDrive for Business makes it easier for customers to get started in the cloud:

• OneDrive for Business with Office Online standalone offering: organizations can get started with a robust, full-featured file sync and share service that benefits from deep integration with Office and offers an easy way to add more of Office 365 when they are ready.

• SharePoint Server 2013 SP1 administrative controls make it easy to get started with “files” in the cloud and provide the ability to "turn on" OD4B in the cloud alongside their existing SharePoint 2013 on-prem deployment.

Page 7: One Drive for Business

The Sales Pitch II• Secure accounts – Use OD4B when employees are purchasing their own Dropbox, Box,

Amazon and /or Google storage accounts, to ensure your company’s content is managed and is in compliance with policies.

• Create Office 365 opportunities – OD4B is a great way to ease into Office 365 and reduce objections to cloud migration by decoupling the “files” workload from SharePoint. Emphasize the ability to add Office 365 easily when the customer is ready.

• Address compliance, security and management complexity concerns of BDMs and TDMs with an enterprise ready file sync and share solution which is just part of the broader Office 365 suite.

• Accelerate deployment and migration – ODFB is now included in FastTrack and Office Deployment funds to help customers to migrate from competing solutions or quickly plan their deployment with Microsoft and partner support.

Syncing Issues• Have improved stability and reliability of the existing sync client

(groove.exe) and added new file-level auto-repair and improved error handling.

• Significant reduction (40%+) in sync-related support calls • No new functional investments going forward

• Developing a single next-gen sync client (NGSC) that allows users to connect to personal and one or more Business OneDrives.

• The next-gen sync client will be available in Q4 2015 for Windows 7/8/10 and Mac

• It will introduce highly requested features such as selective sync and shared folders (for both PC and Mac).
