Online Children’s Day Celebrations on 7 October 2021
We are pleased to share that the Children’s Day celebrations will
still take place! Zoom details will be announced to the students
via the Google classroom soon. In addition to the online
celebration, we would also like our students to remember the less
fortunate in our society, especially disadvantaged children. They
can show compassion and support through the heARTs of Hope, our
Aesthetics department’s initiative to bring the joy of art-making
to the less privileged. A range of heARTs of Hope memorabilia such
as pin badges and pop sockets will be available for sale to raise
funds for the project from 11 - 15 October 2021 during the
recesses, subject to the prevailing SMMs. Each pack is priced at
$5.00. The beneficiaries of the project include children from the
IJ Homes and Children’s Centre (IJHCC). We look forward to your
support. Please note that only P5 Higher Mother Tongue Language
lessons will continue online that afternoon as this is part of the
school curriculum. Online support lessons and e-CCAs sessions will
not take place that afternoon. Travel Declaration for Year-End
Holidays
All students should continue to defer all travel overseas unless it
is permissible under the prevailing MOH’s travel advisory. Should
you have an intention to bring your child to travel, please declare
her travel plan(s) via Parents Gateway [Service – Declare Travels]
by Friday 29 October 2021 (Friday).
