• To get to Oahu from Ridgefield CT I will a board flight from JFK Airport in New York City to Honolulu Airport, (about a 12 hour flight).

• The ideal time to travel is early in the morning due to the 6 hour time differential, so I can avoid jetlag. So in other words, I’m planning on traveling at 2 O’clock in the morning, and will get there at 6 O’clock in the morning.

• To fly first class the cost will be $430.30, which I am planning on doing.

Polynesian Cultural Center

This attraction is a center where natives to Hawaii and different islands in the South Pacific, display their

culture. They show how people live in these areas, and their traditions that they still have. They demonstrate the cultures and traditions of the 7 islands: Hawaii, Fiji, the

Marquesas, New Zealand, Samoa, Tahiti, and Tonga. Some of the things the islanders do is climb 60 ft.

coconut trees for coconuts, take you for a canoe ride in the rainforest, and cook a Luau for you. The Polynesian Culture center visit is topped off by a performance by

the islanders in the show arena called the Breath of Life. This is going to be a lot of fun!
