Day 1, Saturday 26 April 2014 (D) Depart Brisbane – Arrive Norfolk / Poolside BarbequeOn arrival you will be met by our local ground operator — Pinetree Tours and transferred to The South Pacific and Resort Hotel which will be your home for the next 7 nights. Enjoy a welcome Tropical fruit cocktail on arrival before checking into your rooms. Dinner tonight is a Poolside Barbeque at your hotel.Day 2, Sunday 27 April 2014 Half Day Tour / Fletcher’s FatePinetree Tours Half Day Orientation Tour is a must for every visitor. Visit historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and much more. Lunch today is own arrangements and the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight is a fascinating evening of interactive theatre, intrigue and mystery including dinner.Day 3, Monday 28 April 2014 Half Day Fishing Trip OR Day SpaFishing the reefs around Norfolk is a great experience. This half day fishing trip will take you to the best spots on the day with one of the local experts. Please note fishing on Norfolk is completely subject to weather conditions. The time and date of the fishing trip is subject to change and will be decided once you are on island.If fishing is not your thing today we have organised some time at a local day spa for a pampering massage. De-stress and unwindDinner tonight is at a local hotel.Day 4, Tuesday 29 April 2014 Behind the Hedges / Island Fish / Mutiny on the Bounty ShowTravel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in improving our local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk’s major pottery and browse at the Cottage Pottery shop. Lunch today is own arrangements and the afternoon is at leisure. Late this afternoon enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish whilst the sun sets. Later tonight see descendants of the Bounty mutineers bring to life the story of the famed ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’.Day 5, Wednesday 30 April 2014 Breakfast Bush Walk / Barbeque with the Norfolk Island Rescue SquadThis morning take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. At the end of the walk everyone will meet up on the cliff top for a delicious breakfast barbecue. Lunch today is own arrangements and the afternoon is at leisure. Tonight a barbeque with some of the locals from the VRA.Day 6, Thursday 1 May 2014 (B, Golf or Artist’s Trail / The RockToday we have included 18 holes of golf at the Norfolk Island Golf Club. The club is one of the only golf courses in the world located within a World Heritage site. If golf is not your game then take this unique chance to meet local artists in their creative studios. From a local bone carver, a silk painter and potter, a mixed media artist to a laser engraver and a print maker. Lunch today is own arrangements and the rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant.Day 7, Friday 2 May 2014 (B,D) Christian’s Glass Bottom Boat / 4WD Tour/Night as a ConvictToday joinJohn and his Island staff — all direct descendants of the Bounty Mutineers; on an exciting 3 hour tour to parts of Norfolk only accessible by 4WD. This back of beyond tour takes you through private properties and the national park featuring spectacular flora and bird life. Later today (low tide) view beautiful coral gardens and tropical fish inside the calm crystal waters of Norfolk’s lagoon. Donald and John provide full and interesting commentary on the environment tour. Lunch today is own arrangements and the rest of the day is at leisure.Tonight is a fun night out for all ages. Dress as a convict and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing and dancing. Great food and great fun. (Outfits supplied).Day 8, Saturday 3 May 2014 (B) Depart Norfolk – Arrive BrisbanePinetree Tours will collect you and transfer you to the Norfolk Airport in time for your departure flight.
