Worthy - [email protected] @sarahmworthy I’m going to tell you what the NPDev summit is - bringing nonprofit technology challenges together with developers to come up with solutions and learn. Then share some of the interesting open source and NPO projects I learned about at the conference where I think there could be Python solutions, either existing or to be developed, that would be able to solve some of these issues in the nonprofit tech space - in case anyone here is interested in working on a humanitarian project. Then, I’ll introduce you to the humanitarian hackathon concept, share some examples (Geeks without Bounds and Rhok) and request that interested people contact me and let’s see if we can bring more events like that to Houston. I’ll conclude by inviting y’all to the Houston Netsquared Holiday Social that’ll be right here at Stag’s Head Pub in this room on Dec 11th.
