Nozzle check is now an established concept. High Velocity flow without Cavitation and Surge Protection are the Key reasons to install Nozzle Checks. It has an edge over Swing / Dual Checks when compared for Pressure Drop and Cv values. It is truly a protection on Pump Discharge Lines.

=Conical seating surface is self aligning & provides tight shut off.
=Spring loaded disc design allows mounting in any orientation.
=Short stroke length reduces closure time and Minimizes water hammer.
=Short light weight Disc & Fast closing Spring design Protect the piping against sudden SURGE.
=The Design is based on Bernoulli’s Principle, drops the Velocity Head at Vena Contracta thus increasing Static Pressure to avoid Cavitation.
