FEEL EMPOWERED

DETECTION OF DROWSINESS,FATIGUE AND DISTRACTED DRIVING No risk of nodding off or losing focus: the system judges your concentration levels and fatigue state according to your input and warns you if you need a break with an audible and visible signal.

AUTO HI LO BEAMWhen driving on a country road, for example, this system maximises your visibility by activating your high beams and temporarily dipping the lights when it recognises oncoming or distant traffi c. With the full LED headlamps, new Qashqai offers a wider and more illuminating driving experience.

FRONT COLLISION AVOIDENCEIf there’s a risk of a collision with the vehicle in front, the system gives an audible and visible warning signal. If the driver does not react, automatic hard braking is activated to slow the vehicle.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING Watch out, you’ll be warned if you drift out of lane. Unless you’re indicating, the system will remind you to straighten up. While it can detect the faintest road markings, it’ll adjust its sensitivity on rural roads to allow for the different driving style required.

BLIND SPOT WARNINGWhat you can’t see, NEW QASHQAI can. If there’s a vehicle in the blind spot area on either side of your car, a light will illuminate by the wing mirror. If you’re indicating to change lanes and a vehicle is dangerously close, the light will fl ash and you’ll hear a warning too.

TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION The system keeps you up to date with all the latest speed limits by detecting the road signs as you go.

MOVING OBJECT DETECTIONMeet your digital parking co-pilot. This function lets you know if anything is approaching, with its 360 degree coverage – not just objects, children and animals too.

TAKE IT EASYUSING 4 CAMERAS, Around View Monitor delivers a panoramic view around NEW QASHQAI to make reversing and parking a real breeze. Choose a birds-eye view to check out the lay of the land from above then opt for different dual views while manoeuvring – once you try it you will never want to drive a car without it!

PARALLEL PARKING. Drive up, size up your space and if Park Assist says ‘OK’, position new Qashqai within the guidelines and activate automatic manoeuvring for a perfect parking.

WIDE & NARROW PARKING. Parking Assist will deliver clear instructions according to the size and shape of the parking slot. Just keep an eye on your screen and change gear or hand over steering on request. Easy.

BAY PARKING. In multi-storey car parks and busy supermarket bays, Around View Monitor helps you fi nd the best spot and fi t. The parking assist system will even reverse park your new Qashqai for you.

ACTIVE TRACE CONTROL delivers confi dent handling around the corners by applying gentle braking to the inside wheels while turning.

NEW XTRONIC CVT ACTIVE ENGINE BRAKE enables smoother cornering and straight-line deceleration for a direct and engaging driving experience.

CHASSIS CONTROL functions are displayed on your TFT screen: Active Engine Brake when cornering, Active Trace Control and Body Motion Control when brake torque control is activated. It keeps you comfortably in the driving seat.

HILL START ASSIST. The system will hold the car for 10 seconds on an incline while you engage the clutch and accelerate.

ALL MODE 4X4-I®: Off-road or on-road, 4x4-i maximises tyre traction, utilising a computer and sensors, the system measures wheel slip and instantly distributes torque automatically, with up to 50% to the rear wheels. The intelligent system will also move the torque left and right to maximises traction.
