President Fisch seeks support from members for various activities. We have a number of activities which we need some help with from members of the chapter. I am hoping you will review these opportunities for service and let me know whether you would be willing to spend some time coordinating the activities for our chapter. Will you please look at these opportunities and let me know if you’re willing to assist? —C.A.R. Interface. The youth members involved with Children of the American Revolution is an important activity of ours and I need a member who will attend some of their meetings and act as an ambassador to the Halle Orme Thomas Society C.A.R. —Someone to coordinate activities of the chapter recognizing and celebrating Veterans. This is an important area for us and we’re not doing enough. This would include being in charge of Wreaths Across America program to try to increase the number of wreaths placed in our National Cemeteries. Coordinate with other Veteran groups as well. I would also like to see some interface with Luke Air Force Base. —Someone to champion the recognition of Public Service & Heroism Awards for local fire, police and EMS for our communities. This is a program of emphasis and we’ve not done anything with it. We’d like to build this effort. —DAR Liaison. We have eight DAR Chapters in our territory and we’d like to increase our cooperative activities and need someone to be the champion for this effort. I’ve already laid the framework for this and will assist whomever raises their hand. —We need assistance with assisting prospective members with genealogy research of their Patriots in order to get their applications in order. This work can be done from your home so its something you can do on your own time frame. —We need more members who are interested in becoming part of our Color Guard. We have a number of activities throughout the year and some of our members can no longer participate so we’re looking for new members who have an interest.

If you have an interest in any of these activities please send me an email and I will contact you and we can talk about what’s involved.
