What sort of education or health promotion programs does your organisation offer?

Upon what basis do you make decisions about providing education or health promotion programs?

Are there any unique education or health promotion programs to your organisation? What are they? What makes them unique?

Which education or health promotion programs that are offered by your organisation are most successful?

Written comments included: From year to year as priority issues emerge in social and clinical research…

we develop project proposals’’.

‘Most of our work is either inspired or based upon similar programmes developed interstate – in particular NSW’.

‘Decisions are based on research, input from clients and through surveys [and] input from colleagues in the sector’.

‘In the ideal world on evidence. However, we have never been funded to do health promotion…There have been a few students placed at PLWHA over the last few years…and two students are working on the subject of disclosure at the moment’.

‘We try to weave health promotion into situations already existing ’.

‘It seems that the format of social/support groups where health information and promotion can be dispersed is the most successful for us as a small organization without discreet funding for campaigns or health promotions ’.
