Whether you’re looking to train, to hire a pitch or you want to hone your skills the Netherton Activity Centre Football Academy is top of the league when it comes to football. With your choice of two 7-a-side and four 5-a-side pitches your team can play on a casual basis or join a league. As all pitches are floodlit you can play into the night year round so when the light fades your game doesn’t have to and with the latest 3G pitches we don’tcompromise on quality, just like the Premier League.

Booking A PitchAll our pitches are available to hire on a casual pay and play basis and can be booked up to seven days in advance. Alternatively, group bookings are available so that you can book your pitch hire for a season should you so wish.

In addition, discounts are available to everyone who chooses to book pitch hire with an Active Choices card.

Football Parties (8-13 years)For a party to remember, football parties are a great way to spend the day with friends. With a full hour pitchside followed by an hour partying in the activity studio there’s plenty of chances to score a golden goal.

Our parties are well known for their fun atmosphere created by ourenthusiastic staff as it is our mission to ensure all children and their guests enjoy their special day so why not pick up a brochure to find out more.

Casual BookingsAll bookings can be made up to seven days in advance E.g. On Monday, you are able to book pitch hire for any day in the next seven days up to and including the following Monday.

Group BookingsWhen making a group booking a discounted rate applied to anyone holding an Active Choices Group card.

Pitch Hire RatesDepending on where you want to play, how long for and how far in advance you want to book effects the hire rates. If you hold an Active Choices level 1 or 2 card then don’t forget that you can obtain discounts on the prices shown below. Just follow the colour bands.

Block BookingsIf you would like to make a block booking please contact the Football Academy in advance to check the availability of your booking request.

To make your block booking you will have to pop down and complete a block booking request form.Alternatively, further discounts are available for FA Accredited groups - Just ask at reception for further information.

Football Development ProgrammesThe Netherton Football Academy offers a professional coaching environment designed to deliver quality coaching and training for players and coaches who are looking to improve their fitness and gain accredited football qualifications.

Delivered by accredited FA qualified coaches there are a range of training programmes on offer including FA Level 1, Junior Football Organisers Course, Exercise Awareness and Healthy Habits to name a few.

Football Academy at the NACWhether you want to have a kick around with friends, improve your skills, play for a team or become a qualified coach, the Football Academy provides the opportunity for boys, girls & adults to get involved in and progress in football.

Accredited by the FA with Charter Standard Status the Football Academy is responsible for the delivery of the following programmes:

• Active Totz Football - A great way for mums, dads & grandparents to join their toddlers in a fun, football based, play session.• Active Kidz Football - Children aged 5-8 can learn to kick, dribble and

score goals in this fun introduction to football.• Ability Counts - A football coaching programme for disabled children & young people.• BE Active - A school holidaycoaching programme, providing children and young people aged 5+ the opportunity to attend taster sessions and specialist football camps.• Sportivate - A Football Coaching Programme for young people aged 16-25.• Adult Participation - A chance for adults to dig out their old boots and ‘Get Back’ to football. A range of coached sessions and competitions will be available for men and women of all abilities. • Club Finder - An opportunity to find about local clubs in the area.

Want to Coach or Volunteer?The Football Academy will provide support, advice and the opportunity to obtain nationally recognised coaching qualifications for individuals wishing to get involved in football as a coach or volunteer. Young people and adults aged 14+ can access a range of opportunities to help them get involved and progress in football in ways other than playing.
