“The Design module has taught me the fact that a design cannot always be perfect. It comes with a process that I have to finish bit by bit in order to finalise the artwork. This has helped me to face every critical comment, by analyzing what it is left out to finish it.”

MY INTEREST

INSPIRATION

“Structures, Lines, Japanese Arts and Culture. I have a passion for structures as well as lines which I love to make things in order rather than messy. I admired the Japanese arts and culture as I love its peaceful effects using its spaceous nature“

“Empty spaces. Whenever I come across them everywhere in Malaysia, it craves me to fill them up. I never like the fact how a space is treated with isolation which people would fear it. Therefore it gave me the inspiration to make them useful like Highline or Nishizawa’s garden house. “

ACHIEVEMENTPerfecting my English after 5 years of low hardwork

TO ME, INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN IS ALL ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO MAKE A BALANCED AND CONSISTENT DESIGN. EVERY DESIGN MUST HAVE A PURPOSE, WHICH COMES ALONG WITH A PROCESS.

ELABORATING THAT REASON BEHIND IT, WILL MAKE THE ARTWORK UNDERSTANDABLE. IT ALSO REQUIRES ITS AETHESTIC TO MAKE IT EYECATCHING THAT SUPPORTS ITS FUNCTION. WE CREATED A DESIGN TO MAKE OTHERS FEEL WHAT WE WANT THEM

TO EXPERIENCE.

KNOWING THIS KNOWLEGDE ABOVE WILL HELP US TO PRODUCE A CONSISTENT DESIGN. WITHOUT MAKING USE OF THE BASICS ABOVE, IT WILL NOT BE HELPFUL IN ANY ARCHITECTURE

PROJECT. NOT ONLY CAN THIS VALUABLE INFO BE USED ON IT, IT CAN BE USEFUL IN ANY OTHER DESIGN FIELD.

THIS PORTFOLIO CONSIST OF MY DESIGN PROCESS JOURNALS AS

WELL AS THE CONTENT OF THE PROJECTS I HAVE WORKED THROUGHOUT THIS SEMESTER. IT PORTRAYS MY STYLE OF

WORKING WITH THIS DESIGN MODULE.
